I've noticed in HRtP that sometimes Reimu's pallet would alter and turn green (I think it was either dying or bombing on boss stages).  Cut forward to PoDD, and what's Reimu's alternate pallet?  Green.

And flashforward to everyone's favourite 2P...?

I believe that on certain bosses, her pallet alters. Bombing or dying doesn't matter, it starts that way. Not really sure what the cause could be though / if it was on purpose or not. (pretty sure it wasn't)

Yeah, her bow changes to whatever the theme colour of the stage is. Green for Mima, white for Kikuri, yellow for Elis, blue for Sariel. Though not all the animation frames are changed, you can see the bow flash red when she moves. :V

I probably noticed it against Mima then because of crazed bombing.

Let's see. She's normal when fighting Shingyoku and YuuganMagan, yellow when fighting Elis, and has multiple with Sariel. The beginning... area(?) makes her purple, then the fire area turns her an orange color, then the next is back to purple. Her final phase returns Reimu back to normal, red. Mima turns her green, Kikuri also turns her green (looks like a duller green than Mima's), and Konngara is default red.

Besides her bow changing, her amulets change too, you know.

Mystia's theme in PoFV has whistling in it.
Also Aya has the best survivability of all the AI characters, lasting 90 seconds longer than Shikieiki, lunatic, first round.

I believe this is exactly why Medicine screws over the AI so much. The algorithms for dodging must not include to slow down caused by her clouds.

Reimu, in story mode.  I know the first round survivability times because TAS.

I was thinking that the way she freezes all of the bullets would help her survive, along with her above average speed and circular purple zone. To measure them effectively though you'd probably want to set the Hard AI against itself in match mode. Probably Reisen or some other wimp vs. the character whose survivability you're measuring. Hard because Lunatic would never end, and wimpy character because Reimu traps the AI and randomly kills it faster than she should. I don't doubt that Aya lasts longest though. She's even got that bullet slowdown ability helping her out.

A rather useless feature in th10 lets you choose the number of lives you start with in practice mode. Press a number button while selecting a stage.

The manual in th12 says that the large UFOs explode and the small UFOs leave the screen when the dialogue starts because they can 'read the atmosphere'.

By being clever enough?

When Marisa gains a power, a option appears on the rightmost side where it should be when unfocused.
First option just appears in front, second a bit to the right, third a bit more to the right, and so on.
But if it appears while using focus, the newly appeared option will be stuck to the spot like the other options.

So, for example, Marisa can lock two options on the center, and then eat power-ups somewhere on the left side so the other two options end up in the center.

Having said this, I never tried.

Parsee was once married.  (A bridge princess is created when a wife, pining for her husband becomes jealous due to his unfaithfulness and wishes for revenge.)

The Hakurei Orb is alive.

For SinGyoku is by far the worst gatekeeper in Gensoyoko.  Not only does he try to keep Reimu in, he pretty much ignores his duties and ditches the shrine entirely after she beats him.  And he crossdresses.

- Myouren has met Prince Shotoku, according to his legend (Myouren's), and helped Prince Shotoku win the battle against the Mononobe clan, which opposed buddhism
- Myouren's unknown sister, once again according to his legend, went after a purple cloud (did it have a hitbox?) to search for him
- Myouren would've been the UFO's final boss, then ZUN realized that it was uncommon for the series to have male characters in games (bosses/playables), then Prince Shotoku gets genderbent in TD
- the probable inspiration for Yuyuko, Saigyou Hoshi, was born around 1050 AD, it's said that he lived in an age where buddhism was in decline; this is long after Prince Shotoku died, and it *may* imply that Yuyuko actually never met Miko in person, not that she did imply in the first place (when she said "a troublesome person is returning" or something like that in TD's first stage).
- Kaguya consumed the Hourai Elixir, then is found out and sent to execution, revives through the executions continuously, gets banned to Earth (without Eirin), protagonizes the legend of the bamboo cutter, is almost sent back to the moon but Eirin (who felt guilty for having made the elixir, not expecting Kaguya to use it on herself and not having suffered any punishment like Kaguya had) betrays the other emissaries and hides with Kaguya at the bamboo forest. This all happens around 1300 years ago (which is apparently near the time when Mokou stole the Hourai Elixir from mt. Fuji), which means that Eirin left her trap at the moon (which would be triggered around 1000 years ago or more) before leaving it, and wasn't present at the Lunar Capital at the time.
- Urashima Taro (in the Touhouverse) is said to have visited the Lunar Capital (thinking that it was the Dragons' Sea Palace) over 1500 years ago (I had to look up the year, to look for plotholes, which is partially what this thread is for :D), Eirin was present at that time and gave him the aging medicine that he used after going back to his world.

- The Hakurei barrier is useless when it comes to keeping out robotic maids.
- Rinnosuke has a gun disguised as an umbrella in his store.
- Marisa actually owns a computer.  She bought it from Rinnosuke.
- Marisa has a belief of steel being extremely valuable, and takes any she finds back to her home.  (This is due to her overhearing Rinnosuke talking about how he made the Hakkero)
- Reisen is a lightweight when it comes to drinking.
- Yuuka believes science is stupid.
- The Tengu have a yearly newspaper competition.
- Alice and Sakuya HATE EACH OTHER.

- The world of Seihou's canon ties it with Gensoyoko.  Lunarians are more powerful than most people of Gensoyoko and more advanced, however, Erich's private army is the most powerful in the solar system.  VIVIT and VIVIT-r have to defeat this force at least once during their incidents.  This means that VIVIT/VIVIT-r is possibly more powerful that Yorihime or Torihime.
