Yet another pink haired girl we forgot about! And... hm... on the one hand, being pesky is what we do, and on the other, our day is full up all to hell. Why not let Kanako stretch her legs and talk to Reimu, then go talk to Reimu in the evening?

Also, as an aside, I just realized that we (the players) now know exactly why Kanako was speaking with Kasen: we know from the author's notes from Parsee Quest that Kasen sealed off the Underground, and Kanako told Parsee that her plan for Kikuri was to bring her to the ground, and have an associate seal her. Soo...

Wahaha... more reading comprehension: I thought, and therefore Sanae thought, that Kogasa was wanting to take a look at the thing in the sky (Suwako's robot is down there, not going anywhere, THEREFORE we should check out the other thing!) which was not what Kogasa intended.
