[I have an idea. If we tell them the kappa are our responsibility, do you reckon they'll leave us be? If anything, we can say we're doing an investigation and these two are bound to us for reasons. Not sure what'll happen if it gets told to the other tengu, but we have a place to lay low so it shouldn't be much of a problem providing no one follows us.]

Our name is most likely pretty popular, so we cant really prove these two are bound to us without showing some sort of slave contract. The only opinions I can see are telling the three white wolves to fuck off, snatch the two kappa, or beat the white wolves down to the ground.

True, but not if we just met them whilst going out to solve our payment to the shrine maiden. Plus, it's true that we picked them up today. I see no reason why it couldn't work; especially if we threw in 'Reimu had her way with them, so I took them off her hands.'

We're 'borrowing' them in order to conduct an interview with them about Kappas in general. That would spread the word that we're doing this big article, which could be good for our income.
 If they still persist, then we'll have to use our talents to take them out-but speed is a priority. Momiji=bad.

Possible in-fight taunts:

• "As the White Wolf Tengu are renowned for their combat prowess, how does it feel for a Crow Tengu to kick your ass?"
• "If you could have avoided any one of those strikes, which would you have avoided?"

This seems like the most solid idea so far.  As long as slave-kappa don't keep some sort of owner identification on them it might work.

Of course, not until we pass Aya off to Kappa 1 and Kappa 2, and have them haul her to Nitori's. So that way we have free hands for administering beatings.

1)How checkable do you think this fact is?
2)Does anyone care about Tenma anymore, and is he even still around?
3)How f***ed will we be if we kill/beat up these Tengu?

I'm half tempted to go into some rant about how it was just one Kappa, but then we'd be labelled as sympathisers.
