Plus, you're so attached to your home and your trinkets, but you wouldn't give 'em up for your pet crow? Nitori only has two people to her name, hell, she might not even have them any more, and who knows what your pet did to Nitori when she caught up to her? Why not give it another go? You have your pet to save, and you'll have revenger on that kappa, and you'll be able to get some monetary gain, too."

Even though we are a tengu and are pretty quick, we will be wasting time if we go out to find 'proof' and then return, before going to the base. Whilst I understand concrete information is one thing, we have limited time.

Plus, think about what Satori just said...

>"If I could get her back I would give up everything!"

We don't need to push her any more, even if her next line was telling us to leave her be.

But I'm going along the lines of 'well, if that's the case, what's worse? Not finding her ever and never knowing? Or keeping true to your words and find her no matter the cost?'

Basically, I believe Satori is at the point of no return really; much like Hatate. Whatever we say next will really decide whether or not Satori will actually let us help. Perhaps an apology from Hatate could work; or make something snap inside Satori. I don't want her to break down over it, but if it happens, it happens.

More opinions here.

For the future:

How long would it take to bring Aya here from home?
... wait... a second. Couldn't Satori see what she's thinking...

Are you thinking of housing Aya here so at least she's somewhere safer then the mountain?

Or because you think Hatate might end up staying there the night if this takes as much out of her as we are thinking?

Or something I've missed?

Or both? Because it's a pretty good idea... But how do we put that one across?

EDIT: Well, it really depends if Satori actually gives in and goes to save Utsuho or not.

If Hatate cares about Aya that much, wouldn't she want to know whether she's okay in that coma, and what she's thinking about? (hopefully hatate naked but)

Alternatively, offer to make the rescue attempt/investigation ourselves in exchange for Aya's care now and in the future, should we fail.

Doing the rescue on our own? That's asking a bit I think; especially with how Orin is. Plus, I did sort of suggest at having them tag along since, you know, they know what to look out for some what. We need that along with our little resource.

But yeah, Aya is our main concern too; so good point. I'm heading to bed because I need it... damn it; I really wanted to stick with this through it too.

Do your thing. ^^

Well, at least instead of dragging Satori along, or not looting the place, if she's going to be insistent about it; leaving Orin behind would suggest it really being a suicide mission and kinda stupid.

Not confident in doing that of my own volition right now so I'll wait for some support at least.

EDUT: Bathroom break brought some good lines to mind!

"... but if you're going to be too cowardly to come and help, then maybe you can take care of someone I care about that simply can't, in case of that failure you find so inevitable. Even if we don't make it, I want her to live on. And it looks like you have enough here to last few a through more payments to the red-white for your combined safety... and you would have relative ease acquiring more, if necessary. Wouldn't you?"

(Though check how difficult Aya is to care for at this point)
