>Be ready to catch her with a charge shot if the gropeweed doesn't do what we expect. And be ready to hit her with automatics if it does.
> Time to try out your acting chops!
> "Gasp!"
> "Eh! Hey, Cirno, I found heAH!" Luna bolts around the corner, and gets thoroughly tangled up in the mess of seaweed. "Help, it's got me! I'm too pure to-"
> You point your whistle at the struggling girl, and unleash the entire charge using the automatic setting. It doesn't work quite as well as you expected: the shot group is random and the whistle nearly jerks itself out of your hand, so some of the shots don't even land on Luna. Still, enough land on her, and she's now pretty heavily bruised from the automatic bubble fire.
> "Owowowow! Cirno, help!" she cries as she starts tearing at the seaweed with her claws and teeth. You think you can hear Cirno shout back, but it's hard to hear over Luna and her struggling.

The Whip's been proven to work on Star, let's go with that.

> You puff on the whistle, charging it up to about 50%. Luna hasn't torn her way out of the seaweed yet, and you think it'll still be a while before Cirno makes it your way. As for Sunny, you don't know.
> You don't think you have enough room in the tunnel for the whip to be effective, not unless you want to wrap it around Luna's neck yourself.
> And yeah, automatic mode blows. :( It seems to be most effective when you don't have time to charge, or if you're shooting at a bunch of things grouped together.
> So, you fire a charged shot right into Luna's gut. The disgusting "hrk!" sound she makes, and the pained and surprised expression makes you wince, and she goes limp. You're sure she's out cold, though still breathing just fine.

>Is there any good play to lay in wait and plan an ambush here?
>What's the way to the nearest air source?
> You charge your whistle to its max while listening around. You definitely hear Cirno on her way, and you guess that she's not lost any more: she'll be here in about five to ten seconds.
> You could possibly wait here for Cirno to turn around the corner, but Luna would block a good shot. Maybe if you went and hid in one of the other tunnels, but you could be waiting for a while, and while Cirno can breathe water, you can't.
> And speaking of breathing, you think about where you could get a breath of air. The obvious place would be outside, and you could also go back to the chamber where you found Harami. Both of those, of course, require you to exit the tunnels, likely running into Sunny. Still, you know that getting fresh air won't do you any good at this point: you're still running on the stored air from your gem.

>Could we feasibly back into a tunnel, hide, and keep an eye on this place?
>If we moved into a tunnel, and attacked into here, would there be enough room for the whip?

Three plans

A. Tactical retreat, maybe beat Sunny's shit down.
B. Hide and Snipe as suggested above
C. Hunt Cirno down, and catch her off guard.

I think I am leaning toward C, but it'd be bad to waste a good ambush.

> It's certainly possible: there's another tunnel nearby that you can hide in, though you won't be able to see much and still remain hidden.
> You won't have enough room to effectively use your whip on their gills, though it possible you might be able to grab onto a limb, or even leave a field of air bubbles: the main problem you're having is that you don't have enough room for your arm to fully extend.

>Move forward. The second we see her, give her a charged shot right in the face. Or anywhere else.
>Should this not be enough to stop her, blinking behind her and escape.
> You keep the whistle ready and wait. About six seconds later, you hear Cirno calling out "Hey, Luna! Where are you?!" before you see her turn round the corner and see you pointing the whistle right at her. You fire.
> There is a mass of water and air churned like crazy from the charged bubble shot hitting the wall, and your sight is impaired for a moment by the mess. When your vision clears, you don't see Cirno, though you hear her panting from behind the corner. Looks like she managed to react quickly enough and pull herself out of the way of the shot.
> You use Blinking Tide to move past the seaweed and the corner, and find yourself right next to a shaken Cirno. She barely has time to blink before you're racing down the tunnel to the tunnel entrances. It's not long before she's giving chase, hot on your heels. "Get back here, you coward! Fight fair!"

>Once we have a full charge, assess the situation and the surroundings.
> Unfortunately, while you know the tunnels a bit better than she does, she's close enough that she can continue following you, spitting insults all the while. The winding nature of the tunnels prevent her from using her full speed to catch up, but that keeps you from being able to effectively use your own speed technique. You could try to dive into some side tunnels, but you're sure that you'd get lost yourself, or end up in a dead end. You could also head to the entrance of the tunnels, but you know that Sunny's lying in wait for you there.

> You swim, and swim, and swim... then whirl around, ready to blast! Cirno's gotten pretty wise to your tactics, and is already dodging out of the way, though you do manage to anticipate where she's swimming, and fire!
> You hit just behind Cirno, and the torrent of air and water sends her careening into the side of the tunnel, dazing her and cutting her head open against the rocks. You're just about to cry out in victory when your momentum carries you headfirst into the wall.

> 40/50

> You blink away stars, only to find that Cirno had already recovered, and is grabbing you by the front of your swimsuit. Her eyes are unfocused, blood is floating away from a wound on her forehead, and she looks bruised and exhausted, but she looks furious. "This is for Star, and Luna!" she shouts, ready to punch you in the face.
> Well, you aren't having any of that, so you poke her in the eyes. "Agh, ow!" she shouts, releasing you and covering her eyeballs.

A knee to the gut wouldn't be too effective, given the water resistance, and punches would be worse. This is why eye gouges and stuff are the best.

Now, what would be a workable idea would be putting her in a headlock. That'd cut off her teeth, but there may be a flaw in this plan.

>Before acting, does Cirno have claws? Or talons on her feet?

>Before acting, does Cirno have claws? Or talons on her feet?
> She does indeed have claws or talons, very noticable since said claws punctured holes along the collar of your outfit.
>Knee to the gut might be a good follow-up (especially since we're swimming and our legs are free!) while her hands are protecting her face. If we pull it off and send her hands away from her head, a punch to the side of her head ought to finish the job easily.
> Normally, you don't think that kicking or punching would be terribly effective underwater, but judging by how weak Cirno looks, you decide to take the chance. You grab at Cirno's hands and pull her forward as you knee her in the gut. Her mouth flops open like a fish, and her arms lose their strength. A blow to the side of her head finishes her off, and now she's just as unconcious as her friends. Only Sunny remains in the game.

I think we can probably get away with a straight brawl, if she's go no allies. The whip took out Star pretty fast, and we have enough air to blink for awhile.

So, do we be noble and give her a chance to surrender? Or do we just pop in and whip the shit out of her? I'm leaning toward the former, as it can quickly lead to the latter.

>"Hey, Sunny. I took out your friends. You're alone now.  Wanna give up?"
> Sunny whips around to you at the sound of your voice. "Y-you beat Cirno and Luna?" A couple of expressions flash across her face, before settling on anger. "No way! Cirno'd have my hide if she heard I gave up! I'll take you down, right now!" She starts swimming at you, quick as lightning!
>If she blitzes us, give her the whip.
> You summon the whip and crack it at her. You've used it so many times that Sunny anticipates the attack, blocking most of the bubbles with her shoulder, though she still gags on a couple bubbles. It's not enough to force her to break off, and she tackles you back into the tunnels, the two of you bouncing off the walls. Her claws scratch your arms a bit, but it's mostly the bruising from hitting the walls that hurt.

> 38/50
> 1535/2500
> Whistle Charge: 90%

> The two of you are now back in the tunnels, the momentum from Sunny's charge actually taking you through a few twists. During the confusion you dropped the Bubble Whip, though you still have your whistle. There's not much room for you to use your Blinking Dash, though you could use it to get past Sunny in two different directions: deeper into the tunnels and back towards the entrance. Sunny is within arm's length of you, and has already recovered, though short of breath and a bit banged up.
