>"Don't lie, you know you like this outfit."
>BGM
>Stop the music!
>How fast do they seem to be oncoming? Faster than we are?
> You make a quip and wonder what kind of music would be appropriate for this kind of fight, but then you realize that the girls are actually quite fast, faster than you, and they're nearly on top of you!
>Check your surroundings Where are the girls, tunnels, and other landmarks in relation to us?
> The girls are directly in front of you, less than a few feet away.
> You recall the various locations you scouted:
- A wall covered with unsteady rocks, that look like they'd collapse on anyone underneath with so much as a poke, to your left.
- The cavern, of course, looking ready for another rockslide, directly behind the girls.
- A small series of tunnels, leading to a dead-end, and where you placed a seaweed trap, behind the girls, to the left.
- A hanging rock that provides good shade for you to hide under if necessary, to your right.

>Give them the bubble whip, as they come at us, and blinking tide behind them as far as we can if this doesn't slow them down.
> You bring out your whistle and try to summon your whip, only to remember that you need to charge your whistle with air first! This momentary distraction costs you, as Cirno reaches you and slashes you with her claws along your midriff!

> 47/50

> Before she can grab hold of you, or any of the others can catch up to you, you sprint past them instantaneously, sending them tumbling in the water. You are now halfway to entrance of the tunnel.

> 2397/2500

> Cirno is the first to recover. "Hah! First blood!" Bolstered by the strike, the fairies start swimming your way at great speeds!

>It wasn't charged? Weird.
>Move back, and charge things up until we can get the whip out.
> You recall that to keep the whistle charged, you have to continually blow into the whistle: the whistle will slowly leak air when you do not.
> You puff air into the whistle, noticing how much more quickly you can fill up the gauge than when you first got it. That training Twelve Fin Slaps gave really helped!
> It's only a matter of seconds before the gauge is now at 80%, and the Fairies are closing in, around twenty-five feet away. Now that you're not panicking, you notice that, while they are faster than you, it's not by a huge difference: they'll certainly beat you in a race, but not by a humongous marigin.

>Let them get a couple feet within that range, and let them have it.

> The Bubble Whip is effective up to ten feet, but you can hit immobile things or idiots with it at twelve.
> You wait for some of the fairies to get closer to you... and strike! You summon the whip, a long, sinuous mass of bubbles, and lash out at the girl in front, Star, striking her straight in the gills! She immediately reacts to it, eyes wide, nearly popping out, and grabs at her throat. She stops swimming under her own power, but her momentum continues to take her forward, past you.
> The other fairies stop immediately, astonished by the attack. "S-Star!"

> Cirno and Sunny are just outside of your whip's range. Luna is six feet away from you. Star is drifting somewhere behind you, gasping.

>Strike at Luna, and move to the side, away from the Piranha Sisters.
> As you bring your arm back, Luna realizes the predicament she's in, and starts to retreat. It's no use, you catch her along the gills as well. You can't help but wince: it looks painful as all heck.
> You keep your eyes on Cirno and Sunny as you swim to the side, closer to where that overhang is. Sunny looks properly intimidated by the pain that her friends are in, but Cirno looks furious. Cirno starts to swim towards you, eye on that whip of yours.

>Can we use the shots and keep the whip intact?
>Where can we move to, and what's there?
> You cannot: you can easily drop the whip and use the rest of the charge to shoot Cirno, but you'll have to recharge the whistle again.
> There are various areas of note:
- A wall covered with unsteady rocks, that look like they'd collapse on anyone underneath with so much as a poke, on the other side of the cove from you, behind Cirno, Sunny, and Luna.
- The cavern where you met Harami, looking ready for another rockslide, behind the recovering Star.
- A small series of tunnels, leading to a dead-end, and where you placed a seaweed trap, behind the girls: you'll have to go in between all four girls.
- A hanging rock that provides good shade for you to hide under if necessary, behind you.
- There is plenty of space to move and fight here.

>Give Cirno a charged shot, and dart away.  Try to put some space between us and the Piranha Sisters. Charge up the whistle whilst doing so.
> You drop the bubble whip, the collection of bubbles dispersing and popping away, and point the whistle at Cirno. The pirhana champion was anticipating you to use your whip, judging by how she flings up an arm to protect her gills, and is thus surprised when a charged bubble slams into her, sending her careening through the water, nearly breaching the surface. You then start swimming away, pursued by Sunny and the recovered Star. You start blowing air into the whistle.

> How much do you charge the whistle?

> 2302/2500
> Whistle Charge = 0%

>Charge it until Sunny and Star within three or so yards of us, then turn, break out the whip, and ruin their day with it.
> You huff and puff into the whistle, then spin around to whip the girls.

> That's when things start to go wrong.

> Your whip is already extending, racing out towards Sunny when you notice a glow emanating from underneath Star's leather vest. Star's speed, already pretty fast, doubles, closing the distance between you and her in just a few moments. It's not instantaneous like your own technique, but it's enough for her to crash into you, messing up your aim on Sunny. You still tag her, but the hit is glancing, and Sunny only winces a bit.
> Star's mouth opens, revealing a mouth full of needle-like teeth, and she bites deeply into your shoulder.

>If we have the presence of mind, despite being chewed on, give Star some automatic bubble bullets to the soft bits,, then Sunny in general, then Blinking tide away where Star is dislodged or not.
>Should we not have the presence of mind for that, blinking tide away.
>If THAT's too much for us, punch Star in the eye.

>And be ready for the others to come up on us, blink away again if they do the speedy thing. Otherwise, whip them too. If we run out the whip, blink.
> Crack! You catch her across the gills, and she cries out. "Ah! I'm sorry!"
> Crack! You get her again, along the other set of gills. She's trying to protect herself, curling up in a ball and sobbing. "I'm sorry, I -hic- I'm sorry, please s-stop...!"
> Crack! You catch her one last time, and with a gasp her eyes roll up in the back of her skull, and she goes limp. Her gills are weakly flapping.

> "Star!" You hear a shout, and see three angry, pissed off champions, swimming after you with immense speed! "Monster!" Before Sunny can grab hold of you, you dart away, now back in the middle of the cove. The three girls are forced to slow down: it seems that their ability only works in straight lines...

>Move toward the strangleweed. Recharge whistle.
> You allow the bubble whip to dissapate once more, and dive to the tunnels. The three girls are in hot pursuit, and fast: by the time you slip into the tunnel leading to your seaweed trap, they've nearly caught up to you.
>As you swim through the tunnel, you can hear Cirno barking orders: "Luna, you're with me! We're gonna get that jerk and break that stupid whistle of hers! No one does that to Star and gets away with it! Sunny, wait out here, just in case she comes back!"

>Do we think we can get to the strangleweed before they get to us?
> Easily! You spent time before the fight memorizing the route to get to the seaweed trap, so you can easily stay ahead of the girls. In fact, there's a good chance that Cirno and Luna will get lost before catching up to you.

>If we can, keep them having to shuck and jive to keep up with us, to mess with speedy bits.
