>Ponder, maybe ask: Would it be a good idea if we took on the offensive and searched for weaker champions?
>"That's a good idea, but again Champions are hard to find," Harami says. "Your best tactic is to listen in for stories about unusual characters appearing in Gensoushima. Find the Royal, make the challenge, defeat the Champion.
You might need to get some experience and training before you take on one of the three larger Nations. With any luck, Characi will be too blatantly obvious for us to ignore."
>"Well, just because they're staying out doesn't mean it's going to leave them alone. Especially since you said there were sneaky peoples who would kidnap and stuff."
>"Hmm...true. I suppose it's the least I can offer them in terms of protection."
Harami beckons Utsuho and Rin over. When they approach she closes her mind, looking contemplative, and points an arm in Rin's direction.
"Potential Release!"A circle opens beneath the pair - not as intense as the one from your transformation earlier, but still bright. You can see Rin shimmering slightly, little white sparks flying out from her.
Rin is wincing, ready for something painful to happen - and opens her eyes to realise it's already over.
"Huh? What'd you do? I don't feel any different..."
"I've given your lungs a little boost," Harami says. "Your respiratory system is rather wasteful - you don't take in all the oxygen you inhale. I've just taught your body how to make the most of its air. Hold your breath if you don't believe me."
Rin immediately tests this theory, taking a deep breath and holding it. Meanwhile Harami starts to perform the same ritual on Utsuho, who's looking off into space - maybe trying to consider the science behind Harami's work?
Five minutes later, after Harami's long since taken care of Utsuho, Rin's still holding on. You can tell she wants to say something - knowing Rin, probably something family unfriendly - but she's too busy holding her breath to actually do so.
At the seven-minute point you start seeing the first signs of trouble. Her cheeks start to puff up, and you can make out a few muffled groans. She manages another thirty seconds before finally giving up, letting it out and catching her breath.
"Heh, haah...wait until...the next time we go fishing, Sango. We're gonna make up for this lousy turnout, no problem."
>Considering Rin has already drowned and nearly been eaten by a shark today, you have to wonder why fishing is so high on her list of priorities.
