The fact that it's 4 PM now strikes me as very important since the people topside have probably been raging all day (so we probably can't calm them down if they've been going this long) or it just happened this morning and someone might have seen something.

>"Well, it's about like I said earlier," says Ichirin. "People noticed their money was gone, and got upset about it. Um, I think it happened about three hours ago. At least that's when people in the market noticed it. As for Hijiri, well, someone had to calm them down. And someone as big as her is rather hard to ignore. It helps that she's pretty well respected, too. I've not heard of anyone seeing anything, though I imagine a lot of peoples' imaginations are running wild right about now."

>You work your way through the crowd, it is a little difficult as people are not really in the mood to move or shift for you. The fox youkai looks over as you approach, frowning slightly.

>Nothing good comes from a Yakumo...
>"I have no idea how it happened," says Ran, shaking her head. "I didn't see anything, if that was what you are asking. I don't think anyone was immediately aware, though, as it seems to have started with a number of cries from various stands at the time, I assume it was from the first people to notice. Once I understood what was happening, I checked my own and found my money had been changed into gems."
>She shakes her head. "I have been here the whole time."

I don't think Ran is going to give us much more and I doubt Keine and Mokou are going to know anything Ran doesn't.  I also highly doubt the crowd will be dispersing anytime soon, but at least we still have some daylight.  We can always go back underground once it gets dark, I'd prefer to stay up here until then if possible.  The lack of Reimu/Marisa really concerns me and I think it's worth investigating.

It was akin to an unseen spider's web across one's cheek, or a motion out of the corner of the eye, but I believe I did feel something for that instant."

Welp, wanted to check and see if Reimu knew about this but may as well ask KeiMo to confirm first.
