I have to run soon, but here's my take:
  • Parsee is going to want to be replaced sooner rather than later.
  • We should ask someone else that uses cards if they still have theirs.
  • Heading above ground to see if this is widespread and replacing Parsee should be a priority, we can return Underground immediately and continue our investigation.  I recommend heading back to Satori.
  • If we come across Okuu topside, ask her the same things we asked Satori.
  • I think we should take the trident, it may give those topside a sense of urgency as to how desperate the situation Underground is(n't yet)

Can I request clarification as to why we want to return to Satori for investigation purposes after finding a replacement Buddhist? I'm not sure there's any more to be gained from her; at the very least, not more than talking to Byakuren or an Eientei higher-up.

To ask if her spell cards are also missing mostly, but if we run into Okuu topside and find out about how Koishi not only exists but can't be detected by Satori I want to bring that up with her.

I'm using Satori as a main source of information Underground because the oni are all preoccupied (Yuugi and K) and she's the most level-headed by far.  Of course, this is also banking on the situation being exclusively an Underground phenomenon.  If it's an issue topside then I'll further revise, but at this point I'm like 99% sure this was not done by a normal rabbit.  As such, I think that either 1) Eientei will legitimately have no knowledge of what happened and we'll get nowhere by asking them or 2) they were responsible but with keep their methods and reasons secret and we'll get nowhere by asking (but will learn something by infiltration).

Mostly though I want to go back and talk to Satori about Koishi's methods once we learn about her.  Guy raised good points earlier about her lying that no one could escape her, she could be lying about more.

Problem is, we don't know if Nue knows anything about Koishi, or even know if she exists. So:

Hence why we left the house earlier despite our outside suspicions.  My current idea is, as I mentioned before, to go back after we learn about Koishi's ability to evade Satori.

Actually it's probably good to go ahead and ask that, since Guy and I only assumed, but a future visit to Satori should be a back-burner idea for now, we'll get back to it later, if ever.

I'm off for the day, be back around tonight

...You're seriously using the fact that Satori might not be telling the whole truth about something both very personal and completely unrelated to the issue at hand to make her a top suspect in this incident? And you want to run back to your admitted "most level-headed" source of Underground information, who answered our questions at no cost to ourselves, and accuse them of lying due to information we found by poking around the more private and personal parts of their life without their consent?

What is this I don't even.

I think that what Rin's saying is that if Nue finds out that Satori has a sister whose mind cannot be read, it will arouse Nue's suspision (since, you know, it would indicate that Satori was lying). Of course, if Nue by some chance already knows about Koishi, her suspicions would already be raised. So:

>What, if anything, do we know about Koishi, especially in regards to her closing her third eye and what effects that may have had?

Yes, I understand that. What I do not understand is the Evel Knievel leap in logic that says, since Satori is lying about something very personal, very private and largely irrelevant to the incident, she may be lying about not knowing anything about the incident.

Kilga: I really don't care either way what we do irt Satori.  I thought investigating the Koishi would have been interesting and seemed like an idea wroth pursuing, but my true goal now is the same thing it was at the beginning of the game: to leave the stupid Underground and go do some proper investigating topside.  Considering that we still know nothing about the perp besides that they "look like a rabbit" we might as well bounce stupid ideas around.  It's how we ended up staying at the pub after all.

Actually, I feel like that whole jumbled, poorly-thought-out series of actions and reactions was quite appropriate. It may not be the most efficient way to do things, but thinking in-character, someone in a situation like that may very well end up acting without thinking things through completely. Yes, we'd have gotten topside faster if we didn't open the tavern, but, well, I guess it's all about how far you want to take the 'role-playing' aspect.

Something may come up later to validate the time spent at the pub, but so far I don't think we've learned anything from having the pub open that we couldn't have learned separately.  Also, given the oni's penchant for not comprehending gemstones, the opening of the bar across the street is worrying.

I am similarly all for going up to the surface at this point for a multitude of reasons.

I want to talk to Byakuren before doing anything else that is not sending a Buddhist down to cover for Nazrin's shift, though. A couple of things that have been mentioned so far have me unsettled about what role she is going to play in all this.
