I must admit, these Diplomacy threads are fun to follow, even if I can't follow what's actually happening in the game.

This man can be helped, cause it happens that we have an spare invitation to the Vienna Opera Ball.

Unfortunately there isn't such an simple solution in this game. But when we think about the tendency of our dynasty to get themselves shoot down then we have to say it's probably for the better.

We can't see anything wrong about our decision, he is free to go ?Doom, Doom, Doom? all over the place, as long as he does it in a threequarter time. But seriously, inviting an barbarian who doesn't even acknowledge the most basic conventions, like diplomatic immunity, is absolutely impossible.

Diplomatic immunity doesn't apply when the heart is at stake, you cold-hearted monster.

You have scorned my partnership, and now you shall reap the anger that follows from my pain.

We don't understand him, what is he even talking about?

We had reservations against this change of regime from the very beginning and our actions were the result of our viewpoint. He didn't give us the slightest reason to change this viewpoint, the contrary was the case. Can he please explain to us which part of his message, in which he openly called us a liar and aggressor, was supposed to awake our trust? What brings him to the assumption that it would ease our tense relationship when he accuses and insults us?
Everyone gets the allies they deserves, but Jesus Christ what have we done?

Very well, I see you've gone the route of willful ignorance.

Trust, trust, trust. I put my trust in your hands, and you ripped it apart. I know all about the hidden messages, the secret meetings, the "group discussions" that often morphed into something more...sensual.
It's clear you have no emotion, no feeling, no desire to uphold honour in the true sense of the word. A kingdom ruled by autocrats can never be true to the heart. It was wishful thinking on my part that I could even hope to stay the course set by my mentors. There is no love in this world. Only hate. And war.

Dan, is this the open relationship you were talking about?

Is everyone as confused as I am?

Some clarifications:  I am no longer PMing anyone besides conqueror about this game.
I believe Dorian's pronouns are referring to me and my previous play (specifically that abrupt general post after Spring 1904)
Unless the Mod commands me otherwise, I have no reservations about posting in the General Thread about the game (especially about the game before I asked for a replacement)

I maintain Turkey was clearly betrayed first notwithstanding Austria's implications to the opposite.

We think that any further word would be out of place here. He declared the war. He decided to bring this dispute to the battlefield by himself, so we will settled it there and nowhere else.

Also it's a handy thing when I predict Austria's moves exactly ^^

Also, here was my last PM to you dear France!

Quote
Well!  Would you happen to know how strong the ties between Austria and Germany go?  That move to Pie, along with the DMZ along the Austria/Germany border makes me question Germany and Austria's long term alliances and strategies.

It increases my resolve to maintain friendly relations with your nation.

It rained in Paris in real life you know.
