This is where I feel we are better off leaving. If we mods had /ban, proper regions permissions, and whatnot, we could've solved this issue six days ago and not even have to deal with these twats, not even a server move. Instead we see DDR going to sphere for 20 seconds to check on what the griefers have been doing there, even though it is clear that they are worthy of getting banned.

As for sight-seeing, I may consider making a collection of screenshots of various structures and put them in an album before we make the official leave. Though I first have to install Mint on my desktop.

I do feel bad for DDR too, i just found this server on doujinstyle and i joined because the doujinstyle pne was all weird and apparently not "ready" yet....

so i joined this, it was VERY very vanilla that time without chest protections and stuff... and it just grew and here i am playing till now....

it was a very fun server, even tho i was like lagging 99% of the time before we upgraded. i enjoyed it but now.. after the so called "RP"ers came it totally ruined the experience.

Shouldn't plans for the new server go in a different thread?

I'm not the only one who will be giving screenies. I will give the EP Megatower and Hakurei, at least.

Several of us are on server now, burning our structures as a ceremonial mark. Don't worry, we're only burning OUR structures (and maybe the subway).
Amongst them include the UFO, a ~150 x 150 x 70 stack of logs, EP Megatower, the weirdest tree in the world, and Hakurei Shrine, with EPFort, Mokou Pyromancy, and Kaguya Lunarian in consideration.

Same here, except for a bit longer. As for that UFO, well, good thing it left before more trouble arose. Can't say the same about the structures on terra firma, however.

Possibly within the week.... It's all up to Stuffman and how he wishes to proceed. I imagine that once it starts up, we'll need to move the discussion to a new thread. This thread will be hitting 1000 soon.

I believe that we'll need to work on the community center first, so all of us can survive the first night easier. Let's make it a little more interesting than a stone box, ya? I'd also believe that any Nether Portal established there should be fairly deep underground. This will keep the risk of ghasts coming through, as well as save us from the God-awful portal sound effects.
I'm thinking a community center that's a good mix of the Comhouse, EP Fort, and Rukinville. But this discussion can come later.

Like I said, I'm going to take a break from Minecraft until the new server is up. See ya then!

Anyway, I'm taking a sightseeing tour across the ruins. I just want to see it all before I leave, you know. I've recently found NIght4ce's house. Quite ironically for Mokou, it was underwater. Then there were these towers of lava or something. I haven't been there yet but I assume that's what EP did to his megatower.
Also, random secret bases and unfinished, abandoned houses. Some of them with craploads of stuff in their unprotected chests. Man, exploring is fun.

I'm thinking a community center that's a good mix of the Comhouse, EP Fort, and Rukinville. But this discussion can come later.

I was thinking along the same lines too - a large central area with pre-set radius (EPFort) will act as a community house and centre of town, from which all work will spread from (Rukinville). We can work on luxuries later - we just need a place up and running first! ^^
It will probably be more along the lines of 24 x 24 or so, however, seeing how long 50 x 50 took for just three floors.
As for the Nether portals, that's a great idea.

I won't be checking the existing server as often, but will not mind testing the new server a bit (though we shouldn't develop the new place yet) if Stuffman needs a few. Good luck, and see you around!

You REALLY should change your skin to Kaguya at this rate.

EDIT on new server:
Once it is settled and an IP is set, what should be done is that:
- First, Stuffman can use my playerlist post to form a whitelist of MC players.
- Afterwards, he then PMs all of us with server IP if it can be connected to MotK account (or PMs the IP to someone else who can easily tie the MC and MotK accounts; the latter will then send the PM). If not then we will also have to tell certain people on the other server to move there (DON'T use standard chat for that - use /tell <player> <message>).

Second, what about staffer positions? It certainly wouldn't hurt to have admins and mods on this server as well, as I hinted earlier.

Stuff - Did you see all the BroHoster/Host Ladder information I posted earlier? One of those might be a better alternative!

DDR - Is there any way any of us can help with whatever's been making you busy to help lighten the burden? Also, if you do start on a new map- which I'd be fine with, personally- how would you feel about using the Phoenix Terrain Mod to generate some amazing landscapes, possibly in conjunction with Multiverse to allow different worlds for different landscape themes?
