Damn, did it take some work to find those last two. But I agree with Stuff. Notch outright lied about fixing some of the CPU issues. It's even been said that he's made such issues worse, rather than better. The general consensus is that it's better to stick to 1.5 for now.

If you're alright with a bunch of extra class files in it that may result in MC not even starting up without proper config.txts and other things, I'll share mine with you. :3

I was just thinking about the 1.5 thing. Notch has made update 1.6.5 now, but its still shite.

1.6 should really just be a forgotten era, notch should take 1.5 and update that to 1.7 with the new features and leave the bugs be. personally, i thought 1.5_01 was pretty near flawless. Yeah it had bugs, but none of them were game breakers. infact most of them were useful.

And yes the server is still down because I'm thinking of going for 1.5 or 1.6 still. Those hatches are promising...

1.6 had some bad rendering issues, problems with sucking up processor time, issues with lagging up servers worse despite promising the opposite, minecart double boosters were removed as he said they would be, but now minecarts and powered minecarts do not work together (still not fixed in 1.6.5) maps are pretty crappy.

I admit hatches look good but they aren't worth how much the game is otherwise buggered up by the update.

These kinds. True to his word, he fixed some one hundred bugs. In return, over the course of the past two days, he's also made an additional hundred+ bugs, in addition to the hundreds already in-game before this. Good ol' reliable Notch.

Permissions
LWC (FINALLY)
BigBrother (FINALLY)
SpawnMob (It'll allow me to create epic server events)
Nether (The built-in nether that Notch added was NOT working properly.

Again as always, report any bugs to me. Note that when you join this server, you'll spawn in the default spawn at first. Nothing I can do to fix that. Make your ways to your homes and use /sethome. Thanks!

Today the game appeared determined to prevent my return to base by any means necessary. (Eventually I realized you can just leave and reconnect to force missing chunks to load) :V

Also you can see my Lighthouse in that pic. If you stand where that torch is on the beach is and look out towards it during a sunset, it looks pretty rad.

I got on about half an hour ago, and it was lagging really badly, pretty much unplayably. It seemed like a neat server with some cool creations, though, so I'll try again some other time.

Complain about changes in the main Minecraft thread, not this one, unless it specifically applies to something you made on this server.
Also, Stuffman, your lighthouse is pretty awesome. I visited it before the server became too laggy to play normally.

I finally got my computer fixed and I'm trying to connect to the server but I keep getting a Internal exeption: java.net.SocketTimeoutExeption error. I'm pretty sure it's not the server since there are other people connected in the server. I can destroy block but the item doesn't drop but when I reconnect all the blocks I destroyed are in my inventory. I never had this happen to me before, is there any way to fix this? The only solution I see on the internet is to change the Transmit Buffer of my networks card to 512 but for some reason my networks card does not have that option.

EDIT: Never mind, apparently it was the server lagging when I decided to log in
