You could always help me build my thingy (actually, im building a cloud, and on it a house, and try to make it super safe.) :P

If anyone need gold, i so happen to have found some. The bad part however is that i haven't mined it. But if someone manages to find my place there should be a hole down a cliff where i have put a sign and some torches.
I already found it and connected it with a small tunnel to the main road system. Stuck a few torches there too.

It's actually backwards, since the Reimu sprite is only a block away on the other side.
But it's done, and I only had to punch about 500 sheep to make it! (Skye helped too.)

Anyone else done any maps yet? Since DDR hasn't done a cartographer map yet, I decided to try piecing mine together with map_0, and it'd be cool if anyone else has any explored maps to add to it.

[attach=1]

My map has lines through it that I can't seem to get rid of, sorry about that D:

Anyway, the top left blocky area is PX's mob spawner. To the right of it is the lava pillar and the hub. The large structure below it and slightly to the right is the Amaterasu Shrine, and the Hakurei Shrine and Reimu sprite are somewhere over the mountains to the left of that, I think. The map pointer has me at the community house, near spawn. The Sakuya sprite (touhoumon one) is near that. In the mountains to the right a few people have underground bases which aren't really visible on the map. There are currently four landmarks at sea, becoming visible as you head right and down. The first is an (unfinished?) cobble tower, not sure who that belongs to. The next is by far the largest, and has an overpass leading to it. Go a bit further and you'll spot my Lighthouse, and furthest out, to the right of that large sandy beach, is my Sea Fortress. (Actually it appears someone recently constructed a floating castle over the water near spawn, also)

Biomes of interest added by my map include another frozen area at the bottom of the map, and a large desert far to the right. Also my memory might be failing me but I'm pretty sure the sea is fully enclosed by land if you go further to the right.

Has anyone built anything beyond the scope of this map yet? If so, go ahead and do some cartography so we can expand it :V

Nice job adding on to the full regional map! My underground area is kinda visible - it's under that red dot in the middle. We definitely will be needing more maps (and duplicates of map_0) as more players join / we expand our operations.

Don't forget the Nitori one next to Reimu! Also the Mario next to communal house.

That tower with the overpass is mine, but it's still far from complete...it's taking forever and a day to make :V (only finished floors 100 and higher - overpass is at 92, and sea level is 64).
It was originally going to be a gravel pyramid but you can see how stupid that idea would be :D

I'm not sure. I'm currently still extremely low on supplies. I'll have to start a tree farm first for the idea to go anywhere.
Also, can somebody tell me when it's day?

If you look at the first Minecraft thread that was made, you can see a Palaquin ship I made. I wonder if DDR can import it in the server.

Oh, that reminds me of a project I once tried on a server I decided to stop going to.

Yeah, I tried to make my base the entire underground.
I only got up to finishing Parsee's Bridge before things went south.

Yeah, surprised that I have minecraft? I just lost interest in it for the most part, up until your idea Artemis.

My preferred building material for most things is obsidian though, due in part to obsidian being a blast-resistant material. Creeper's can't blast what they can't damage!
But I generally prefer to just blow up things with TNT(which is another reason for my building preference), so I was generally the go-to guy for hollowing out caves and stuff.
So if you guys need a hand in hollowing out space for Chireiden, I might be helpful as long as I can get my hands on at least 10 TNT blocks and a good enough pick to hollow out a spot to place TNT.
Of course, if we're gonna build the palace of earth spirits, we may as well do the whole underground right? I think I'd be able to complete that old project with you guys though.
Last server I was on and tried it, I was the only guy building it, everyone else was too interested in building stuff aboveground. they didn't understand the joys of making subterranean buildings!
Though they did have a nice little Hakugyoukurou built.

If you guys want a Demolitionist/Digger to lend a hand, don't hesitate to ask.

Essentials is back up. I just have to be very damn careful about restarting the server or anything like that.

Hello Terry,

Unfortunately, there is a bug with the editor that clears any file with a '&'. We'll try to have it corrected as soon as possible. For now, you'll need to download any file with a '&', edit it, then upload it back. This included the Essentials config.yml file. I apologize for the inconvenience.

The corrupted file was causing the issue. I've reset it for you, Essentials should be working now.

Free TNT for everyone as soon as that mob spawner gets up.
And yeah, the entire underground would need to be built sort of far away since there are alot of people with underground bases that wouldn't like it blown up.

Yeah, the overheads are too close to the ground or trees. I for one, know the results of trees, since mobs can spawn on them.

Speaking of creepers, I know a way to skip wood tools using one.
Just lead it to some stone, trick it into going boom, and presto! Stone obtained without a wood pick.

I've been trying to expand them and create a few alternate routes that aren't so close to ground.

To be honest though your first day you don't tend to see any creepers, and if you haven't seen a tree to make a wood pick, you can't make a stone pick. And finding stone? dig down.

Then again thats my single player logic being applied to a multiplayer server. Then again, theres enough creeper holes if you look around already...  :V

Creeper raid shelters huh?
My prescription for that? Obsidian!

Shame there's probably no handing out extra blocks via inventory hax on the part of the OPs/Admins. (Only quick way to get enough obsidian for any project I undertake)
Because the last server I played on was a server that didn't care about that, and just built stuff. Using that to get additional materials to finish up projects without too much fuss.
And in some cases, it was the only way to do certain things, like get pink wool.

Now that bone meal can plant flowers, you can get infinite amounts of red/yellow dye, so pink is a lot easier to make.
Also, obsidian really isn't that hard to get, just time-consuming. One underground lava lake and a single bucket of water can get you a full stack.
