Given how quickly signups are coming, I might open the game up a little further to 15. Depends on to what I wake up tomorrow morning.

- No posting in the game thread at night.

I reminded myself how annoying it was to peek in during the night of Edible's game to see a bunch of nonsense spam. NOT ON MY WATCH.

In all seriousness it helped keep people motivated, which is a major issue with Town in MotK games.

Some lost sleep wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't finals week. And I noticed.

EDIT: fun fact: Basic vote count analysis of that game I subbed in would have made the scum obvious in a second. The first player was the third vote in the RVS L-1 wagon, a wagon most players correctly guessed probably had scum on it, then the second sub-in Jerako pretty much voted all the same wagons as his scum buddy at the time I went in.

Given the rate at which signups have come, I will be extending the game size to 15.

Of course, if things trickle down to a crawl and I can't get 15, then I can just go back to 13.

I wonder whether people enjoy role madness more than they enjoy mostly vanilla mafias. I'm quite fond of wacky and zany roles just because of all the shenanigans involved in them and how much they shut down gaming the setup, but I wonder if other people (don't) share my love for the same?

Personally, not a fan of role madness. That may be a consequence of my first game. But I'd rather not have to speculate about the setup.

If I know everything about the setup of the game, then there isn't anything about the setup to speculate about. I kind of consider that a good thing. It's just scum hunting, and nothing else. But I'll have to play a vanilla game over the summer to be sure I prefer that, rather than just sideline-scumhunt.

So I actually got 16 signups. Whoops! No matter, the setup has been compensated just fine.

I'm going to go back and find the Anon accounts (since my handy dandy hidden topic with all of them in it has disappeared for some reason) and get them ready, then start handing out role PMs. Look for them later tonight!

With the modding queue as it is, maybe we should start considering running multiple games simultaneously? Hah, what am I saying, playerbase issues!

I kind of wonder if there's someone who'd definitely not play in the mafia game I intend to host so I can discuss the setup a bit and make sure there's balance in this world of unbalance. It'd be smashing to have that out of the way prior to the game actually beginning.

I'll get on IRC, AIM or whatever you want to discuss!
