All the dead players vote to decide where their one vote is going. Pretty cool hey? Their majority is decided by their VOTING majority instead of membership.

The bastard modding this game is really tame. Just take it easy :V

Logs showed your last login time as the 14th, and not all of us are in #sm. If you're not willing to keep on top of signups at the very least without being prodded, I really don't see how you'd expect to run a game.

Hm, I realize that (though I think it's more of the third or something) but going into the military is a forever kind of thing with only weekend breaks for 2 years; not conducive to playing Mafia (except if there's a hydra thing). And I shall go on the 12th December if I don't manage to jump far enough next Wednesday (12th Feb if I do, but I don't think so), so chances are that this is probably the real deal. (Past ones are more of overestimating the time I spend on exams).

I don't think it's much of Mafia Fatigue as much as people happening not to have enough time for involvement, as most of the player pool already sort of gave their reasons for not signing up for your game. And as already mentioned, it was up to you to check the topic regularly, not up to us to inform you when we can get started etc.

Let's say that players A and B are both scummy, but they're both also taking a good chunk of time to attack each other. Without a flip, there's no way Town can possibly hope to be sure that their suspicions of either are slightly correct.

Likewise, you can't exactly analyse scumpairs without confirmed scum, and a lack of confirmed Lylo is outright absurd because it means every single day Town has to worry about walking into a quicklynch.

So yes, I think a no-flip game definitely qualifies as a Bastard Mod.

And the reason I was so skeptical was because he made an effort not to say 'affiliation is revealed upon death' and instead used the very generic and broad 'information'.

In other news, in before a variety of embarrassing and painful post restrictions.

EDIT: Also this makes scum's job of targeting stupid Townies incredibly easy, because even when they get a lynch there are NO RAMIFICATIONS since there's no flip.

So? Why should town have to be sure of their suspicions? No flip is challenging, sure, but it's not bastardly. Just means you have to actually pay attention to who's arguing and how. As for No Ramifications, scum arguing a stupid townie to death can manifest themselves in how they argue. I really see no argument here that makes it bastardly. As for lylo warnings, always assume you are in lylo at the earliest time.

I'm thinking I may need to request that I get blacklisted for a while. Right now I'm sort of suspicious that I use Mafia as a platform to BAWWWWWW, so the best option is just to cut off my opportunity to use it.

I'm not sure if university is going to grant me enough free time to properly be able to watch over a game...and I never got around to finalising the setup. I had ideas for roles and such, but after consideration they felt too absurd and unfair to really implement. Plus if I ran a game like that now, I'd get branded a hypocrite for sure. T_T
