They can't really be corrupted as they don't have any morals at all, just the drive to survive and to expand. That's why I find it funny when people are shocked when companies like Google exploit loopholes on taxes and stuff. They're not being evil, they're just maximizing profit. Hence why you can't trust companies to work in good faith because that goes against their entire purpose.
