> ... Actually, straight ahead. Taking on Reiuji might be suicide, but without being underwater, our abilities might kill someone. Reiuji's the only one who can take it.
> Load info on REIUJI, UTSUHO and KAENBYOU, RIN.
> Oh, and open channel to base loudspeakers: "The Komeji sisters are in the main hallway, and Kawashiro is in the engineering hall. Reiuji is in maintenance, do not engage Lu Bu Reiuji. I repeat, do not engage Reiuji."
> "... ~myu♥."
> You aren't sure why you don't want to kill...maybe this worm is in your head a little, but still...
> REIUJI UTSUHO
RACE: HELL RAVEN/YATAGARASU
POWER: MANIUPLATION OF NUCLEAR FUSION
RISK RATING: ASTRONOMICAL, S+++++,
REALLY REALLY REALLY FUCKING BAD.You have a good deal of information on Reiuji, but it's mainly theorising how her nuclear power actually works. Mother has put a great deal of thought into it, trying to determine how a youkai's body can maintain a reactor of such power, doing her best to ignore the obvious answer of 'it's magic'.
In comparison, there's only a small footnote on Kaenbyou. She has power over...corpses? No wonder her rank is mild if they're deliberately not killing anyone.
> On your command, the kappa keeping guard in maintenance begin retreating to protect Mother. A good call, as the stamping sound in the distance gets louder by the second...
>Review current LOLI programs.
>Load info on our coding abilities, and if sufficient and quick enough, begin the creation of a firewall that would make even Zero Cool wet his pants, then upload it to a nearby terminal. Hopefully this will keep Kawashiro in check. Also fill the firewall with yukkuri just to make it that much more annoying.
>If this can't be done fast enough, put it on a background process and upload when ready as we take the forward path. Mother will have to hold out against the sisters herself for a bit.
>Consider the effectiveness of the kappa researchers if used as a throwing weapon. Or is that too inhumane?
>Also consider effectiveness of ripping a cable out of the wall and using it to electrocute an opponent. Or is that also too inhumane?
>Regardless of which path we take, continuous status updates on each section would be nice.
>Consider possibility of constructing a similar device to Mother's Make Everything Really Hurt button, and how we could use this against an enemy.
> LOLI engine abilities currently grant you the ability to produce mechanical items quickly and swim with ease. That, regrettably, is it.
> Coding is not a proficiency you were programmed with, unfortunately. You will have to leave Kawashiro and hope she isn't suicidal enough to, say, blow the facility up.
> The researchers are blunt and squishy. Using them as weaponry is not advised.
> These cables are responsible for passing around important things in the facility. You know, things like water to cool down the engines, electricity to power the machinery, and of course air so that Mother doesn't suffocate. Tearing one at the wall is not the best plan if you wish to maintain the integrity of the facility.
> You can't be in three places at once. You can maintain a vague knowledge of what's happening in each chamber by listening into comms, but nothing detailed.
> That machine is designed to instill pain in your 'nervous system'. It was designed along with you, so recreating it would only work on you. Designing a version for a non-machine is pretty much impossible.
>Search for your inner Machine Spirit, commune with it.
>Do you have any Sacred Machine Oil? If not, your Machine Spirit is not on speaking terms with you.
> Astronomical risk? That's nothing. You're Rou-tan, Mother's greatest creation. Nothing can stand in your way - if anything, it's a relief that you've finally met someone who's a match for you.
After a few minutes of walking down the corridor, you hear reports that the other two pathways are being quickly overrun. The kappa can hold off the Komeiji sisters for a while longer, but they'll fall eventually. You don't catch how they're being dispatched, but the words 'INSIDE MY HEAD' are muttered several times over the radio.
> "Unyu? I thought they all ran away?"
A voice echoes from the other end of the corridor. Utsuho Reiuji is looking straight at you, puzzled. She tilts her head, examining you carefully. At her side, Kaenbyou looks more concerned at your presence.
"Uh, I'd be careful if I were you. Kawashiro said that we needed to be careful with this one...she looks cute, but she's got one hell of a suplex."
Reiuji looks over to her friend, excited.
"You mean I can stop holding back?!"
"Yeah, no. You go full force and we all get to blow up and die. I'm good at cleaning that stuff up, but I can't really clean up after myself."
Reiuji frowns, her wings drooping.
"Aw...twenty percent, then?"
Kaenbyou ponders the offer for a moment, then sighs. You've been walking towards them all this time without them paying any obvious attention to you, but you're still about thirty feet away, in a square corridor that's ten feet wide.
"...Fine. Just try not to kill anyone, 'kay? I didn't bring my wheelbarrow."
Reiuji's wings flutter.
"Awesome! Alright, let's go!"
She points her arm - the one with the large metal rod on it - straight at you. Something begins building up inside - an orange light, growing rapidly in intensity and size. Better decide on your battle plan now before you find yourself with a hole in your chest!
