> "All right then."
> Stand back up.
> "Because I'm sure you'd be curious otherwise, what we're all about to do is the agreed-upon signal for the poltergeist to return me to Gensokyo. Sit tight, and hopefully we will meet again soon."
> Look up and wave our arms overhead, like we're trying to get the attention of something passing by in the sky.
>You stand up, explain what you're doing, then begin to wave your arms toward the sky.
>About a minute passes. Your arms are starting to get rather tired, when the light seems to change around you. The purple yet not purple sky lightens, while the indistinct forms of trees and the like begin to appear around you. Proper color returns to the world, lightening in a way that you cannot really express with words. The dirt under your feet shifts and softens as grass manifests there. Soon there is no sign of the shadowy island, and the world begins to brighten, though the ground remains dark. The sounds of birds and insects come to you quickly, and everything looks normal after a moment.
>Looking around, you do not see the poltergeist anywhere, but you suspect she's not terribly far away, given the shadow covering the ground.
