*cough* bump

>You close Koishi's door to leave her with her madness. Before you are the halls of the Palace of the Earth Spirits
>On the right are the stairs leading on the floor below, where the exit can be found.
>You managed to find Chen and discuss her future with her.
>You are indebted to Mokou and promised her to embarrass Kaguya Houraisan in a way Mokou would get to know about it and be satisfied.
>You also promised Koishi to look for her missing sister Satori, whom might be in the Ancient City where oni dwell. The four devas of the mountain's whereabouts are unknown.

>Contemplate the city from the palace's vantage point. What can we see from here?

>You find your way on  a point that would give you a nice view on the city.
>Such a  place is actually at the gates. So you go down and proceed to those. You can see far away the Ancient city, booming with many lights, living on it's own. it has many buildings and one of it's parts is built-in in this giant cavern's walls, so the city might just go in deeper there, making it humongous!
>There's a moon, shining in the cavern. what an eerie place.

I thought you did, Purv. You're a faithful soul :]

>One building is much further away from the city. You aren't sure what that might be from this distance. You barely see it.

>There are a few ways out of the Underground, as you see now. You used one of them. This building isn't near any of them though. It's kind of isolated.

>From this distance it's impossible to know. They might lead to the surface, which Koishi mentioned that they are guarded.

>It isn't difficult to see from here how to get to those other ways. You guess that in town you would get the direction intuitively as it doesn't look too difficult

>Follow the way that seems either most interesting or least crowded. Favor the former.

>The most interesting seems a way closest to the eerie house that's away from the Ancient City.
>The fastest way there would actually be by flying, using 2% magical power
>You yawn. you haven't slept for 2 nights now, been mind raped by Koishi, bribing fairies with chocolate, making a sperm deal with Marisa and heck of other debts. You can go on though. You just feel all the action.
>You assume it's something close to morning. so it is day 3 of the adventure.

You mean route home or route to the place near the isolated building?

>You fly towards the distant lonely building.
>Magic Power Level: 73%/100%
>It appears to be some sort of shrine, as before it is a Tori Gate made of sturdy wood. It appears to be decorated with round red beads, it's painted red as well.
>The shrine itself looks decent and managed, though it doesn't appear that anyone's here.

>Have a look around, as a normal visitor would. See what we can divine about it's resident or lack thereof.

>There appears to be a donation box in front of the shrine, pretty similar looking to the Hakurei shrine.
>As you enter, there seem to be yin yang orbs actually floating above ground in here. The place is pretty small, with a door leading to some other, unexplored by you, room. These are currently closed.
>There are braziers in all corners of the room with still burning fires, making the place visible well for visitors.
>In front of you there's a statue of a sitting man, holding a sword in one hand and a ball of fire in the other. He has a mask featuring some sort of horned demon. The shrine doesn't give a vibe of evil, but you haven't seen anything like this before. Everything appears to be quite old and you recall seeing such a shrine in a book about religions you read a long time ago, but you can't remember what was that about.

>You open the door a little bit just to take a peek inside.
>There appears to be some kind of little room. There's only a sleeping mat, with a blanket and a pillow. It looks in order too. the room doesn't seem to have any windows and it looks very plain as there's only a little fire brazier in it's corner except the bed.

> Ascertain when last the sleeping arrangements were used.

>You want to check the bed place so you open the door on full after confirming no one's in there.
>The door slides at your wish reveling the poor looking room fully now.
>You check the blanket and pillow. They're cold, but they aren't covered in any dust. They weren't used more then a few days ago.
>You notice there's a closet built in the wall on the right.

>Nothing! You move on to the closet and open it. It's door is sliding too, neat.
>Inside you see some blankets, some red clothes, an old looking chest in it's left corner and a little box signed "bandages" on the chest. it's spacious enough to fit in a person too in here.
