Neither of the princesses.

Hint one:
Spoiler:
The last few lines are meant to refer to a specific event, but there's a more well-known incident with the girls in question it could also apply to as well.
Life and death are without purpose.  Our attempts to give them one are quite presumptuous of us.  But in the end, we exist, and that is enough.

Not any of those.  Perhaps it's time for another clue.

Hint two:
Spoiler:
In her case, "unseen" is 100% literal.  But there are exceptions...

Already said it wasn't Flan.

Koishi?

On the right track with that clue, but it's not Koishi.

So I'll say Nitori instead.

Not one of these two, but you've definitely got the right idea with Nitori.

There we go.  Sunny is the one who dreams of making an incident of herself after all!

The grasp and the ruin?  Well, it could be the Fairy War which she thought up.  Especially on certain routes.  But I was thinking of Bright 24.  She straight-up bounced a barrage from the overlord of Gensokyo...which just led to the immediate dispatching of the other two.
Yeah, I was being deliberately overdramatic with a very minor event.  You may now proceed to smack me around for a while.

I'm so glad I've read all of that manga. Wouldn't have said Sunny otherwise.

However, I won't be around for a couple of days, so I'll have to pass on my turn.  :ohdear:

I got this.

You!
I wanna take you to a gay bar,
I wanna take you to a gay bar,
I wanna take you to a gay bar, gay bar, gay bar.

Let's start a war, start a nuclear war,
At the gay bar, gay bar, gay bar.
Wow! (Shout out loud)
At the gay bar.

Now tell me do ya, a do ya have any money?
I wanna spend all your money,
At the gay bar, gay bar, gay bar.

[Pause]

I've got something to put in you,
I've got something to put in you,
I've got something to put in you,
At the gay bar, gay bar, gay bar.
Wow! (Shout out loud)

You're a superstar, at the gay bar.
You're a superstar, at the gay bar.
Yeah! you're a superstar, at the gay bar.
You're a superstar, at the gay bar.
Superstar.
Super, super, superstar

MANNOSUKE Oh wait, not a fan character...

Kanako? (She gave Utsuho nuclear power by putting the Yatagarasu in her, and while Gensokyo has not been shown to have any gay bars, the outside world does have them, and Kanako's from the outside world.)

This new style could prove quite interesting.

Friends are there
To help you get started
To give you a push on your way

Friends are there
To turn you around
Get your feet on the ground
For a brand new day

They'll pick you up when you're down
Help you swallow your pride
When something inside's
Got to break on through to the other side

Friends are someone you can open up to
When you feel like you're ready to flip

When you've got the world on your shoulders
Friends are there to give you a tip

Friends are there when you need them
They're even there when you don't

For a walk in the park
Or a shot in the dark

Friends are there
I don't care
But friends will care for you

All wrong, though I can see where you got Parsee from.

Hint:
Spoiler:
This one isn't as well-matched as Purvis' was.

What the heck does that mean?

It means that
Spoiler:
unlike Purvis' poem, one or more lines of mine do not fit the character.

More Specific Hint:
Spoiler:
"I don't care" is the most unfitting line, so don't base your guesses on that one.

Nope. Another Hint:

"Friends" actually refers to the only friend the character is known to have.
