>Can we see any sights or points of interest along either of these paths?
>If not, keep going west
>None of the paths really stand out.
>You continue westward. The trail begins to incline sharply upwards, while the land inclines even more sharply. Rocky crags dot the land, as do sharp cliffs. Dark and rainy as it is, you imagine practically anyone else would have a hard time seeing through all of this. For you, it is merely wet and cold. Neither of these things are terrible, really, you are an oarfish youkai, but it's much better when the damp part is a constant thing in a pool or stream rather than falling intermittently from the sky during a chilly evening. The ground is a muddy mess as well, with runnels of water racing down the inclines and making things even more wet and difficult to travel. The path, as it were, grows steeper and more treacherous, more so with the weather. Cliffs and step inclines border it on one side, while the other is a increasingly perilous drop down a sharp hill that would likely break something of yours were you to tumble down it.
>Finally, the path comes to an end in a yawning cavern.
