Even if the spectre were to try such a thing, she not only doesn't know where we live, or which room is ours, but by that point she would have had to go through who knows how many celestials along the way. To say nothing of The Dragon down the hallway. Lock or no lock, it's a more defensible position than an isolated house by the spectre's own forest.

I know, I planned on staying there regardless. It was more a curiosity question.

The one circumstance under which I would consider abandoning our room is if we found a shadowless Tenshi, because who knows if that means the 'geist learns which room is ours.

If our room does have a lock, though, we're using it. >_>

If, for whatever reason, you encounter the poltergeist, tell her that I found it for her, and allow her to have it. >"Well, if my theory is correct, and she is the Brocken Spectre, she was essentially born into this life of paranoia and secrecy that others envisioned for her. She has likely literally known almost nothing else. I wanted to try and show her that there could be a life beyond that. A life free from hiding and fear. It is a terrible cruelty to be thrust into that sort of existence through no fault of your own. Unfortunately, the last conversation I had with her was... unproductive, to say the least. But, I shall take the fact that she could share a drink with Suika without trying to attack her as positive. I admit that I'm hoping that returning the book to her will be the sort of gesture she's honestly never experienced, and that it might even be enough to give her pause. But... I have to admit that I would be unsurprised if it did nothing to soften her demeanor."
>"Beyond that... I don't know. It's difficult to extend trust towards her, when she has proven herself so dangerous. Allowing her to go free and unchecked seems tantamount to consigning others to Nitori or Kogasa's condition, and I don't want to take that risk."

In very briefly.

Don't forget to stop off at the tavern, it's been stated as being "on the way" to the main island, and there's a chance Tenshi's been there. Even if she isn't now, we can ask whoever's minding it if she had been there before.
