>You talk along the way, but Nitori is not able to give a real answer.
>Soon you reach the edge of the island; its pale forests, though dense, are not particularly hard to travel. It is not a particularly long walk, either, and soon are are at the edge of the almost-purple void.

>You send some danmaku into the emptiness. It is rather like shooting danmaku into the sky, nothing special or interesting  happens.
>After a few minutes, you reach the new island. Aside from being dominated by a small rocky mountain, maybe a hundred feet high, there is nothing particularly special about it. As you land, you note some motions from your shadow. Looking down, you see Nitori's shadow is there, holding her head.

>You look around, and don't see anything noteworthy here. The shadows, weak uncolored things that they are, do not particularly hold any unusual properties such as motion.
>You start up the mountain. It's not a difficult hike at all; it's not even steep enough that you have to use your hands to get up the slope. Soon you reach the summit.

>You approach the pool. Water here looks especially odd, it has a sort of viscous look to it due to its odd color. Its surface is undisturbed.
>You move so you are standing west of it. Nitori's shadow falls on it; but you can't see it very well anymore. You can kind of make out your reflection, but the color properties make it hard to see.
