"You think you're going to get away with this?!"
Stuffman, Purvis, and Schezo are sitting in chairs, tied up as an impossibly tall stack of coins stands in front of them. If it falls, there's no telling what sort of damage it'd do.
You chuckle to yourself at their plight.
"Oh, I'm quite certain I'll get away with this. In fact..."
You slowly but carefully pull out the lowest coin in the stack.
"...I'd bet my bottom dollar on it."

Kanako kicks you, returning you to the waking world.
"SERIOUSLY MAN QUIT SLEEPING ON THE GODDAMN JOB"

Stuffman
"C-Come back soon! Wait, no, actually, don't, because that means you'll get sick again, but if we don't get patients we don't get business, so...uwaah, this is confusing! D:"
You offer the intern who looked over you a fond farewell as you return to your capitalist, goddess-lovin' ways.

Schezo
"Ah, he's waking up! Outta here like the wind!"
You catch the last remnants of a tengu journalist fleeing into the distance as you wake up. For some reason, you're standing, and worse yet you're in a long purple robe with a crown on your head. Has she been posing you for her shots?
...It might be an idea not to read tomorrow's paper. Just to be on the safe side.

Stepping out of Eirin's lab yet again, I dust off my hat and rethink my priorities. This whole capitalism thing is probably going to get me killed at some point, maybe it'd be a good idea to have a plan to fall back on in case I go broke.

And coincidentally, look who's there again! I'll use Festival of the Gods to go have an honest talk with Minoriko. She seems to like wheat, so maybe she'd be interested in opening a little sandwich shop with me someday?

Then, 1d6.

Sorry, guys. Kind of tired mentally, pushing myself too hard with all the stuff I'm supposed to write and running this. Updates are probably gonna be bare-bones for a while, and most flavour will be Sect stepping in (for which I'm really really grateful OTL).

Purvis:
You consider doing the Hobo Stride, but decide against it, since you lost a lot of time doing it last time. Oddly enough, though, your brisk hunched over walking pace garners you more faith than the strut. Huh.

1d6 = 6
(Get 30 faith!)

Dormio:
"MAN THAT WAS LAME LATER" is Kanako's last words to you as she vanishes in a gust of wind, but not after strong arming the fairy workers into coming over to your side. Just what is with you and falling asleep while Kanako's around, anyways...?

1d6 = 2
(Kanako leaves, but not without handing the property over to Dormio!)
(Dormio -> 2400 -> Schezo)

Stuffman:
Ah, it feels so nice to stretch your, uh, eyelids, after being in the hospital for so long! You feel so good that you decide to throw a little festival near a wheat field (complete with those odd crop circles), in the hopes of attracting Minoriko. You start to wonder how you'll get her to forgive you: maybe you could combine your interests, and start up a sandwich venture...

"Hey! It's you!" Oh no. Not her. "You stay right there, you eyeball freak!" The festival was supossed to call Minoriko, not her. "When I get my hands on you, I'm gonna...!" What the hell kind of luck was-

You wake up to a familiar ceiling.

(Uses Festival to attract the nearest curse/blessing.
Unfortunately for you, the closest one is NOT Minoriko. Say hello to everyone's favourite house-wrecker!)
1d6 = 5
Triggers event! Go back to Eirin's.

Schezo:
You finish paying the kappa working for Stuffman, and walk around the corner. Waiting for you, with a wad of cash in her hands, is Tewi. "Hey, thanks for the backup there. Here's your share," she says, handing you the wad of cash. "You did pretty good back there, wanna team up for a bit?"

Stocks purchased.
1d6 = 3
Lands on Tewi! Gains 6568 cash!
[Schezo -> 1200 * 0.5 = 600 -> Stuffman]

Triggers event!
(Initially you got an event that would've put you right back into Eirin's but I figured that was too mean, so I rerolled it. Looks like your Goddess Harem saved your ass, because you just summoned freaking Kanako to blow Tenshi away!)
Er hold on a sec.

First, are you sure you're supposed to cross blank space to determine who's "closest" when you use Festival? Tenshi may be close to me visually but she's ass-around the entire board. I think I should've gotten Minoriko.

Second, it's not fair to other players to try to deliberately skew the game just because one player is having absolutely horrible luck. I'll take the Eirin's result from the chance space.

The card calls the closest blessing/curse to you. Tenshi is closer by straight line distance, that's why she gets summoned. If a grid is overlayed on the entire map, Tenshi is 3 squares away and Minoriko is 5 blocks away for the aoe check. That's simply how the original game handles this card.

As for the rolled event, you go back to Eirin's.

Correct. Cast range in the game is your screen's field of vision. But when you select the card, it will zoom to the appropriate distance for the casting. Exception being the big nuke where you can still scroll the map on casting. To translate one screen to a limited range here, I had to pull out some arbitrary numbers.

If there's something you wished you could do, ask and you'll know if you can.

I tried to get hold of Pesco to clear the matter up before I made the move, but he was already asleep. I figured to myself 'OK, Stuff's already had to sit around for 3 days waiting for everyone else to get back together, it's kind of unfair to make him sit through that again the moment he gets out'. Basically, I try to mod under the rule 'if someone isn't having fun, fix it'.

Apologies for the confusion.

You and Tewi come across a suspicious looking wooden stand. For a while, you stare at Tewi, while Tewi nondiscreetly picks her ear. After a while, Tewi glances at you, and gives you a look of confusion before realization sets in.
"Oh!" She hops behind the stand and ruffles around a bit, before coming back up with a jar in her hand. "Hey there, feel like getting lucky?" You mention how inappropriate that sounds, and she shrugs it off. "Who do you think I am, Jessica Rabbit? Just pick a number already."

You get your Hobo Stride going on, and soon you have a small formation of hobos and other vagrants following you. You then come to a halt, the mob stopping with you. Slowly, you lift your hand, the other homeless folks following your lead...
*Snap* *Snap* *Snap* *Snap*
You lead the hobos into a synchronized dance, fingers snapping, toes tapping, with dirty rags twirling in the streets. A duet of toothless bums provide music with their trash cans and shoestring guitars, and the street is soon filled with the unwashed masses sliding in between each other in a choreographed movement. All too soon, the organized chaos ends, with faith raining down from awed and somewhat disgusted viewers. As suddenly as they appeared, the vagrants vanish into alleyways, hands clutching the faith. Unfortunately, they were too quick for you, and you're left with no faith.

"Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead!" You stand on the prow of your Nice Boat, enjoying the brisk wind on your face while renacting that Titanic scene with a squirming Tewi. Ah~, it feels so good to be free...
You pass by a grove of cherry trees, and stop when you see a pink haired woman wearing a blue kimono beckoning. It seems that she'd like to invite you for a flower viewing, which you agree to. She seems nice enough, and the trees are beautiful...

Eirin takes another look at the chart, then looks at the patient again. "This... is probably the worst diagnosis I've seen from you, Reisen," she murmurs.
"I did the blood tests, and they spiked on the alcohol content. He should really be dead three times over from the amount of alcohol poisoning," the moon rabbit replies, pointing out the test results. "As for the rest of it, turn to the next page." Eirin does so, and realization sets in.
"Ah, yes, that would explain the physical damage. Being digested by a hungry ghost would do that. He should be out in less than a week, though."

Eirin frowns. "Will someone tell the fairies to stop doing that?"
"Sorry, but that eyeball goaded them into it."
