Spoiler:
I am giving you all support because I showed up at my region's final write-in event to cheer on the others... and nobody else showed up and I am sitting here in this cafe all alone.
  :ohdear:

They probably gave up. We shouldn't make the same mistake.

Depends on the time zone. I still have 12+ hours to write 5k words. And I have a 4-6 page essay on Peruvian history due tomorrow in Colonial Latin America class I haven't touched, too!

I can't help but wonder: Is the deadline November 30th, or December 1st? If the latter, don't you all have an extra day...?
nintendonut888: Hey Baity. I beat the high score for Sanae B hard on the score.dat you sent me. X3
Baity: For a moment, I thought you broke 1.1billion. Upon looking at my score.dat, I can assume that you destroyed the score that is my failed (first!) 1cc attempt on my first day of playing. Congratulations.

In that case, I have enough time left to panic about my essay instead of this (specifically, a bit over 30 hours.)

I'll still finish on time, but right now I need to concentrate on this horrible homework. >_o

Eh, I dropped NNWM, mainly because it was absolutely hopeless in trying to pull 20k out my ass in one day. That and what I had planned wasn't going to make the cut (I had to snip ALOT of stuff I wanted to do because I didn't have time to write it all out before the deadline).

I'm still writing the story I used though so the time spent on this wasn't a complete waste of my life.

Congratulations, everyone!

Thanks to Kiro (Click for some charts!), we're able to get some stats for all of this!

Total wordcount: 507744
Average wordcount: 19528.62
% Active (non-zero wordcount): 96.3% (26/27) - (compared with 36.1% internationally)
% Winners (wordcount>50k): 25.9% (7/27)
% Winners of Active (wordcount>50k): 26.9% (7/26) (compared with 30.38% internationally)

1/4 of us completing is actually really damn good!  And even many of you who didn't complete still got quite a bit done - quite a bit that you didn't before!

I still feel bad about giving up after the second day ._. I couldn't focus or get the words down past the first, and I just... Gah.

Congratulations to all of those who actually did stick with it, both those who won and those who didn't.
