I was about to make a "How the hell..." comment, but then I saw you said last three cards and not last card. I should give it a go with MarisaB as well, since she's the only shot type I haven't done it with yet. I shall be back soon with results! Hopefully good ones...

Also, wow, I just checked the shot analysis and apparently MarisaB UF Far is worse than ReimuA UF Far? That's pretty awful...

EDIT: So a few CHEEEEEEEEEEENs and a couple bad words later, I finished with a garbage run. Messed up a lot of stuff I shouldn't have, but I didn't really care at that point... I even bombed through Chen so I wouldn't have to deal with her anymore >_>. Scored just over 480m points, finished with 3 lives. I'm pretty amazed I captured 12 Generals though. I had 2 bullets (the arrow ones) side by side coming straight at me, tapped bomb, found out I actually had no bombs at the time, I somehow grazed between the two bullets and captured it. Dem hitboxes.

Like 90% of MarisaB's damage comes from the lasers. But when you're unfocused the laser splits in half and becomes way too spread. Even at point blank you'll be doing what, 50% of focused damage with awful cherry rate?

Yeah, I noticed... And her bombs are complete garbage too. Spark completely destroys everything in sight, but you move way too slow during it to even get any point items from it. I mean, I'm cool with a crappy scoring character, but MarisaB can't even reach the PoC before the items fall off the screen... That's just terrible.

At first i was disappointed by seeing you start with more than the default starting lives but when you cleared the game with 5 lives in stock that disappointment was lifted. You would've won the game even without those extra lives. But your run wasn't bad at all. You even captured Alice's first spellcard. Thumps up for that. You did good. Congratulations.

Oh and if you don't mind me saying, try beating the game with Reimu or Marisa next time.

GFW - Easiest routes to clear for each difficulty (other than easy)? And is it just that I've only watched replays of lunatic and not tried it myself, or is lunatic actually easier than normal?

SWR/Hisoutensoku - Is there a broken character like Patchy was in IaMP? I'd like to get a lunatic clear on these, but I don't really want to need too much effort for it. I have no experience with these games and no desire to get good at them (I hate the gameplay), but I'm fairly decent at IaMP, so I figure the similarities carrying over will make me at least good enough for Lunatic, if not actual matches.

I don't know much about those two games but for GFW my experience is that the A routes are the easiest and the B routes the hardest. That is of course different from person to person. Some find C routes to be hardest and given that i've been to lazy to 1cc any Lunatic outside of the A routes I can't really know.

If you just want to 1cc the game though, A1 should be fine. Oh and Lunatic is not easier than Normal i can beat Normal mode without using Ice on the spellcards if i tried that on Lunatic i would be committed to a mental hospital. Just not gonna happen. Its harder 'kay`?

For SWR exclusively, Aya is the broken easy 1cc character. For UNL though, none of the story mode characters are really broken, but Meiling's is definitely the most fun.

I seem to have developed a tendency to do surprisingly well at the oddest things after continuing.

While going through PCB on Lunatic to unlock the stages for ReimuB, I captured all four of Youmu's boss cards (i actually yelled "what the hell?!" out loud after capturing Hell God Sword). I already mentioned this from a previous post. Then...
While showing someone how hard Lunatic is, I ran IN on Lunatic. Somehow managed to cpature Asteroid Belt.
While going through Lunatic on ReimuB so I can unlock the stage for practice and fun, I manage to cpature all four of Sakuya's stage 5 cards. Yes, that inlcudes Killing Doll. (Although the other three are easy anyways)

I tried some MoF no horizontal (easy) and did ok.

ReimuC is also viable, due to shotgunning damage she won't have to bomb twice on some attacks here ReimuA is forced to. But stages become much more of a chore.

My best in practice on Kanako's Mountain of Faith is 6 mistakes. I'm sure better is possible and clearing the game shouldn't be too difficult for a skilled player.

Just got a ND3B run of IN extra on a complete whim. Bombs were on Ihakasa's Moon Curse, the sixth non-spell, and the rings of doom. Oh, and I failed Imperishable Shooting, but whatev'. Not bad considering I was in an Etrian Odyssey-induced stupor the past month.

Massively hilarious failfest ensues at Fujiyama Volcano,
due to being stressed out about that i ended up starting Possessed by Phoenix at the top of the screen instead of the bottom, it was kinda awkward.
Feel free to tell me why i suck. :V

Had much better overall run before that when i reached Hourai Doll with 4 lives but after bombing once i failed at "synching up" and lost all 4 lives there T_T

First of all, hello everyone, since this is my first post after years of lurking :-) Second, I've finally 1CC'd SA hard! Took me much more time than the previous games, especially due to massive suckage in stage 5, but I finally made it! Went into the Utusho fight with 8 lives and 4 power, ended with 1 life. So far all my first 1CC's are like that, amass loads of lives up until the final boss fight (managed to only die once this time, having taken bombspamming to levels I hadn't dreamt of) and then blow at least half of them on the final spellcard. Still, a 1CC is a 1CC and I'm massively satisfied at it :-) What would be a logical next step, UFO hard or some earlier game (IN?) on lunatic?

The easiest 1cc would be LLS lunatic, as it's basically hard difficulty on other games.
