Is there any good strategy to beat the AI besides "dodge more"?
As Yuka/Marisa, rack up the intensity and hope for EX spams which will eventually wall or trap the AI. Complete luckshit on lunatic; with Yuka you can dominate the center of the screen and reflect everything, but Marisa tends to get pushed to the bottom and die quickly since you can't clear horizontal paths. Yuka's spinning boss attack (the one from LLS, minus the cool LLS sprite animations) can also land a hit; spamming boss attacks is probably a good idea since you can clear the screen well enough without needing L2s or L3s.
Sakuya will eventually land free hits on the AI with the EX knives, but you're better off trying to trap it with L2s. Again, try to control the screen from the center; activate spirits everywhere and spam L1s.
The AI can't dodge Shikieiki's boss summon laser
at all. Get enough boss summons, get lucky, win match. I'm inclined to call it broken, but it's arguable.
Reimu can reliably trap the AI with L2s and L3s. Using too many L2s at the wrong time will result in DEATH though since you'll get a ton of fast bullets reflected at you. Still the best "non-broken" AI buster.
Actually kind of broken too, though.Lunasa can also drown the AI in EX attacks, but you need obscene luck for that to work - their slow speed doesn't make it easier for the AI to avoid it, but it makes it more likely for the AI to have enough gauge to deathbomb when it gets hit. But her survivability is very good and will buy you time.
