>Mugetsu doesn't seem in much shape to reply coherently at the moment, but Gengetsu nods. "I see no reason that she should remain asleep with us gone," she says.

>Maribel takes a deep breath and smiles. "I think it's time to wake up."
>"I think I'd also like to leave," Gengetsu says. "I have... bad memories of this place. It would feel good to have some other scene before me."
>Mugetsu pulls herself from her sister and walks towards Maribel. Her checks are slick with tears, but she is smiling earnestly. "Thank you," she says, a little unsteadily. "From the bottom of my heart, thank you. For the rest of my life, thank you. I don't even know what to say."
>"I'm just glad you're back together," Maribel says. "The rest... well, we'll just call it an adventure."

>You take Mugetsu's hand, having a last look at the column as you do so. Nothing yet seems to have changed about it.
>Mugetsu closes her eyes, and the scenery starts to blur around you. You swiftly feel very hazy and tired, and then everything is dark.

>You slowly open your eyes. You are slumped in a chair in a bright and sterile looking room. Your back is stiff and uncomfortable; you get the distinct impression that you've been sleeping in an awkward position for some time now.

>You groan, and stretch a little. Yeah, definitely a bit stiff. But it's oddly reassuring, in a way. Makes you feel like you're really here.
>You sit up and look around you. The place seems more or less like you remember it. Renko appears to have slept through the entire thing, which you figure is probably for the best. Maribel is still resting peacefully. You see Mugetsu and Gengetsu materialize next to her.

>You give them a few moments to get coordinated, although they seem potentially more awake than you feel yourself at the moment. You notice Maribel start to stir a little, then slowly open her eyes. "Where am..." She stops and frowns as she becomes aware of her surroundings, then looks at the IV in her hand. "I'm in a hospital, aren't I? Oh, Renko..."
>The door is currently wide open, and you are in a long hallway of similar rooms. It didn't seem busy earlier, but you know from experience that it's quite easy to glance into the rooms as you walk past. Fortunately, Gengetsu should be obscured from the doorway by a curtain around Maribel's bed, although she might cast an odd silhouette.
>"Marisa?" Mugetsu gives you an odd look. "What do you mean?"
>That... may be a possibility. Hopefully your way home still works.

>You take another look around the room. There is no sign of Marisa, or any of her stuff. In fact, the chair that she'd pulled up to fall asleep against also seems to be folded up and out of the way.

>She smiles. "In the biggest kind of a way. I'm a... little tied in, though." She gestures towards the IV and the couple other monitors she's connected to. "Feel kinda sore, too... I guess I've been lying here for a long time, haven't I?"
>That's also a good question. Most things still seem to be more or less as you remember them. But who knows what random bit of them might be quite different. You'd have no way to tell, would you?

>You frown at the medical devices. Some of them just seem to be tied or stuck to her; perhaps you can just pull them off? Aside from the purpose of the IV, which Marisa or Reimu said was to deliver medicine, you're unsure what the others would be for. They don't look like anything you're familiar with.
>"Not all of it is entirely clear," Gengetsu says. "But yes, I think I can remember much of it. Including things I... regret greatly." She bows her head towards you. "You have my sincere and profound apologies for the things I tried to do to you. You are a rare person, Keine, to care so much ever after all that."

>Maribel frowns. "I don't... think you should. I mean, I feel ok, more or less, and I'm sure I'm fine, but patients aren't supposed to just unplug themselves from medical equipment." She takes a look at the IV again. "I'm not even sure what they're pumping into me, and I'm sure they'll want to do followup now that I'm awake. I suppose I'll probably be stuck here for another day or two for observation..."

>"I'd be just as happy to leave, myself," she says. "But it would only cause more problems for everyone else, I think."
>You tap Renko gently on the shoulder and she shifts a little, and makes a vaguely uncomfortable noise. Her eyes open a crack, and her head turns slowly towards you. She suddenly snaps to alertness when she recognizes your face beside her.
>"Y- you came back," she says.
>"Renko...?" comes a quiet voice to her side.
>You see Renko's eyes slowly widen as awareness dawns on her face. She turns her head abruptly to the side. "Mary?"
>Maribel smiles and nods her head. "I'm here," she says. "I'm ok."
>Renko turns back to you and clasps your hand tightly in both of hers. "Thank you!" she cries. "Thank you!" Then she practically dives at Maribel and enfolds her in a tight hug. "I'm so glad you're alright Mary..."
>"I'm sorry I worried you, Renko." She returns the embrace gently and smiles towards you.
>Mugetsu walks over and takes her sister's hand, looking up at her with an expression that seems to say "Me, too." Gengetsu ruffles her hair.
