If we are not currently "facing" the construct, rotate ourselves so we are, using the length of our body as the axis of rotation (i.e. we could see it from our POV despite being upside-down). If the construct is directly above us, ignore this rotation.
> As soon as we get to a point where we feel getting any closer to the water would probably cause us to fall into it, pull up and start flying forward, which would then theoretically be away from the construct if it is not directly above us. If it is, then pull up and fly forward anyway and don't worry about positioning.
