>"Ok, just hurry and fetch her as quickly as you can."

>Renko nods, and runs out the door.
>You are now alone with the Construct. It is still swaying.

>You find a stool to sit on, and wait as faeries fly into the pantry from the open window, and back out, bearing some kind of food stuff.
>The Construct freezes in place, standing stock still.

>You get out of the way, nearly tripping over the stool in the process. You feel its fist whiff past you, and hear the stool shatter.
>You don't bother to look back, you run for the door. A faerie screams, you think she emerged from the pantry.

Probably getting a nooner.Goddamn rabbits.
>You just keep going!
>You head into the corridor, flying as fast as you can! You glance back, and see it is following you though the air, the golden energy filling the gaps in its body flaring brightly and the strings whipping behind it. It is moving fast enough to keep up with you, at least!
>You fly into the Foyer. The library doors and the front doors are both still open.

>You think it is too small. You're not sure if you'd want to fly into the tower at full speed, though.
>You could, and it probably would close the distance a bit. How much depends on what you do.

>Try to adjust our angle by increments, rather than quickly altering it and giving the construct the best chance to cut a more direct path to us and catch up. Sweep a wide arc back around to the tower window.
>As we get close, pull up speed just enough to get inside without crashing into it
>Once inside, quickly get away from the window and descend. Expect glass shards a moment later

>You make a long, wide turn; trying to trick the Construct into following your path as much as possible. Your course takes over you over the lake, and over sections of forest, before returning you right back toward Scarlet Devil Mansion. You aim for the tower window. You keep going...trying to keep up your speed until the last minute... You hear danmaku fire, then plunge through the window, screeching to a halt and reflexively throwing up your hands and straightening out. as you enter the tower! Praised be you've been practicing your flight a lot!
>You descend quickly, but the expected impact never comes.

>Danmaku fire?
>Tentatively ascend, keeping as much distance between ourselves and the window as we can, and look out

>You are certain that is what you heard.
>With no sign of metallic death bearing down upon you, you tentatively ascend back up to the window. Looking through it, you see no sign of your pursuer, but you can hear more danmaku outside. Looking toward the ground, you can see it as well, though the slope of the roof prevents you from witnessing the source, you simply see it flying off into the distance.
