No problem dood, do you know why my minecraft keeps showing Could not Create Java Virtual Machine?

The game won't work when I download it, it will work in browser and all other java stuff works fine

Don't know if this'll work or not, but try this! I vaguely remember doing this for some reason back when I first got the game. I think it allows Minecraft to use more RAM.

This. As of midnight 3-2-11, Paint seems to do some hidden, invisible thing that makes edited images unusable in Minecraft. For example,

>Edit terrain.png on 3-3-11 in paint
>Save it to Folder1
>Send all the contents of Folder1 to a .zip folder
>Contents include items.png, last edited on 3-1-11
>Use texture pack in-game
>terrain.png in your texture pack switches over to the default
>items.png in your texture pack works just fine

I now do 100% of my editing entirely in Gimp 2. It's free- you should give it a try sometime! And if you have any questions on how it works, don't be afraid to ask!

Small question on texture packs, can other players or administrators access the information as to what texture pack you're using? Or do you have to tell 'em yourself?

Nope and yep, in that order.  :>  As long as they're texture packs. If you're using something like an x-ray MOD, something that actually changes lines of coding in your client, then if that server has plugins which are capable of detecting when you use it to completely re-render all blocks on your screen, they'll know. If they have plugins installed which are capable of detecting that sort of thing, and if it's a mod, not a texture pack.

Edit: An extremely selfish person tried keeping the account all to themselves again- why, we'll never know, since that has no positive effect on themselves. The password is now what it used to be before the last change. The seven letter one, started with "h," two words, no space.

Oh noes! I'm bumping an old thread!

I've gotten really bored with Minecraft, after you've done everything worth of interest, it gets sorta boring, and pretty much most of the interesting mods right now are broken for 1.5_01(Like the portal gun mod). And as much as it sounds stupid, being unable to decorate a room, or put furniture in it beyond beds and bookshelves kinda ruin the point of making rooms.
