Researching the Hot Spring and pouring the rest into Neverrust sounds good.

Also, the idea regarding the gems to iron and gems to wood sounds good.

Have Ruby grind.

Get Hibachi to get the books as mentioned before.

Also the actions regarding Glenda, Maya, Kirala, Ferra, and Joan all sound good.

Have Marie try to find a way to heal bigger injuries.

Apparently, Thomas the Tank Engine isn't one to take crap from anyone.

[Sorry the heat's melting my brain.  I'll do my best to not typo everything.  As a bonus I'll be adding the numbers rolled for Special actions.  Assuming they make sense to anyone but me...]

Week 15 Results

Research Phase

Create Hot Springs- 135

Yuki: "This is way harder then it looks.  Still I should get it soon."

Yuki: "Alright.  Let's make some stuff."

Turned 12 gems into 480 wood

Special Actions
1: Hibachi - buy books on gem crafting.

Hibachi: "Sorry.  I couldn't find anything useful."

2: Marie - Get better at doctoring

Marie: "Experimentation, ho!"

84 - You're not sure where she got the research subjects, but she's learned how to treat more sick people at once.  Marie will auto cure two devils a week, with 100% success.
You gain 4 notoriety.


3: Mai - Research

Mai:  ;)

94 - Mai learned "Ice Box."  For 5 gems and 50 mana it will boost the Resturant

4: Have Ruby seek adventure.

Ruby: "So anyway the aztec gold was cursed, but I did get..."

13 successes.  Ruby gained 65 xp, Level up!, learned Rough Divide, Gained $150, and 8 gems
Marie prevented an injury.


5: Glenda - Writing

Glenda: "Hm...  This is new for me, but I might be able to do something.

Glenda: "Not a blockbuster, but it sold."

6: Joan trains

Joan: "Augh!  Sorry!"

20 - Failure, Joan pulled a muscle and didn't learn anything new.
Marie prevented an injury


7+8: Ferra and Kirala try to make a cool thing

Ferra: "It... appears to have caught fire."

Kirala: "We can work with this..."

5, 95 - The ore was bad and the Forge caught fire briefly.  However Kirala was able to turn the wreck into modern art to pay for the repairs, and get $42 extra.

Eskarina looked over Elles shoulder as she finished scribbling out the math problems.  "Hm...  She's right.  We're technically already in a drought, but we'll start feeling it next week.  And from these figure's it'll be about a month before things get better.

Mai tapped her hands on the desk.  "Are we good?"

Alouette nodded.  "If we start preparing now we'll be just fine for food.  In fact we should have extra we can keep selling, if not as much as normal."

Cassia nodded in agreement.  "Our finances will be secure too.  I'll invest in the proper commodities quickly."

Hibachi smirked.  "And it'll be a sellers market when everyone else catches on."

Yuki sighed in relief.  "So we'll actually make money off this then?"

Cassie shook her head.  "Sorry, but that's unlikely.  We're still losing all of Heather's income and our maneuvering this week can't make up for that.

Yuki rubbed her eyes as Hibachi continued.  "And the price of woods gonna go up too.  We're fine since we cheat a bit, but other people have to use local wood...."

"Well at least we won't be too badly hurt."  Yuki sighed.  "Anything else?"

Alouette nodded.  "Marie suggested some clothing that might better suit people for the hot weather.  I have a sample here."

Yuki looked at the highly altered witch dress that the maid held up.  "I can't help but notice the large heart shaped cutout over the chest area.  And the general shortness of the skirt."

"It has a nice hat as well," Alouette stated.

Yuki turned to Mai.  "How about you just air condition the place like usual."

Yuki wondered if she imagined the brief frown on Mai's face before the ice mage nodded in agreement.

A drought has come.  It will be 4 weeks before you will see rain again.
For the next 4 weeks crops will be weakened.
Heather will have no income.
Food prices will double, but you can't sell as much food so the other income sources will remain the same.

Enhance Devil - 50 mana - Doubles Devils effectiveness at the cost of a week of exhaustion.
Devil Trigger - 200 mana - Doubles Devils effectiveness
Empower Gem - 1 gem 100 mana - Gives you 50 mana to use later.
Money Tree - 1 gem, 5 mana - Ads 5 income
Planar Portal - 10 gems 50 mana or 15 gems 100 mana - Creates a portal to a location inside/outside of Makai.

Special Actions - Maximum 7 - Limit one per devil/magician
Stress Relief - Helepolis.  Removes d10+5 stress.
Grind levels - Ruby.  Helps (slowly but safely) level Ruby and gets random drops.
Dance Party - Requires Dancer, Bartender.  Devils do not become bored at the end of the week.   Morale may be gained, and stress may be gained or lost depending on RNG.  This party costs d4 * 4d10 in cash.  Butler can decrease the multiplier.
Fight Crime - Mai.  This weeks event is canceled and reduces notoriety.  Mai and Yuki may be injured.

It is already done.  The gem mines beneath the fortress that seems to have been named "Boatmurdered" are already accessable.

Sadly the water created by the hot spring spell isn't really good for plants.

There is a rain spell on your research list though.
It was just an idea, and the irrigation system is more supposed to keep Heather busy and as preparation for the next time than a solution for the current situation.
But we have to add a water reservoir to the irrigation system if the Hot Spring isn't available as water source.

All of this sounds good, though lets cast Dig as well to cut down on costs even farther.

Let's Heather and Apophis plan a irrigation system.
This sounds good as well, even if we do end up getting Call Rain.

Get Joan to attempt training again.  Get Ruby to explore randomly again.

Have Alouette and Eskarina look into a way to get the mansion even cleaner.

Also, since iron is hard to get convert some gems into the stuff if we have any leftover mana.

Week 16 Results

Build Phase

Sakaki: "Here we are.  We're all set.  We can arm an army of orcs or build a battleship if you really need to."

You built a Foundary

Ferra: "Alright!  Now let's get production really going!"

Research Phase

Call Rain

Yuki: "Water is such a pain to work with.  Oh well.  The spell does seem limited though."

You research Call Rain.  For 20 mana you can make it rain.

Create Hot Spring

Yuki: "While I'm sure to get groped at some point the benefits will be worth it."

200 mana creates a permanent hot spring.  This unlocks other structures.

Spells:

Yuki: "Alright.  Let's make some stuff."

Turned 2 gems into 40 iron
Cast create Foundations and Dig to build the Foundary.

Apophis - "Hm...  It's too bad that spell is beyond devils of our rank."

Special Actions
1+2. Heather and Apophis plan a irrigation system.

Heather: "Um, which one waters the plants best?"

For 100 wood and 30 iron you get an irrigation system.  It will help defend your crops against events.

Mai learned Demonic Summoning.  For 50 mana you can gain another special action.  And even if the devil has already acted they make act again.

As she waited for Mai she started going over her spells.  Lava stream seemed like the best one for deflecting errant dragons.

Mai was up quickly, shortly followed by Ruby.  "Can I help?" The leather clad demon asked.

"Sure, if you've got the blasting power." Yuki stated.  "When I give the signal Mai?"

Mai nodded.

As the dragon entered into range the three casters unleashed their spells.  Yuki and Mai's cascades of power clashed a bit creating a lot of steam, but between those and Ruby's wind gust the dragon corpse was pushed back.  It slammed into the wall then slid into the moat.

Yuki sighed.  "Call Allouette for clean up.  And see if Chou can get any dragon steaks out of it."
Event:
A dragon hit the wall.  There was little damage.  But it drew attention
25 wood worth of damage.  +10 notoriety.

You gain 2 stress this week.
Alouette is restless
Helepolis is restless
