Actually, I have a twink question: If we cast Enhance Devil on a devil and then have Helecopter give them a massage that same week, will that help their Exhausted status?
Not really.  They'll feel better about it of course, but Helepolis can't restore magical energy

I was thinking, for reasearch, maybe we should just finish the Patchy one now, get it out of the way and cut down our biggest issue. We could then put the rest into something else, but I think we should finish the Reasearch for Patchy.

Shoot, I was hoping we could Enhance Sakaki and get 200 wood for free.

...Maybe we should do that anyway. 200 wood now and 0 wood later is better than 100 wood now and 100 more wood later.

Of course, this begs the question: If a devil is magically exhausted through that spell, does that mean they can't perform any tasks? Or does it just mean they lose their inherent bonus for a week (like +100 wood or +50 cash or whatever)?

They can't perform tasks either.  Their tasks the week they are enhanced are supercharged though.

Also, our explorer got Night Sever when she leveled, correct? I assume she will also end up getting Winged Slayer and Dimension Slash at some point, if Night Sever refers to what I think it does.

Idea: Create portal to scrapyard. Allow other dealer to use it on a limited basis for a fee until we can make full use of it.

That scraps my idea, then, since I want Sakaki on-call to build next week.

A portal to a scrapyard could work, though I worry that the money we'd get from selling it would be less valuable than the iron we'd be losing.

That's the trick. We take our share, lease out the rest we could have been getting. Once we get a forge going, we stop leasing it out.

It's a litteral doubling.  You get two weeks worth of stuff right now at the cost of next weeks stuff.

Will Mudoon and Night Sever provide more effectiveness or are they simply flavor?

I vote to research the money trees and put the rest into Patchouli's thing.

I also vote to lease, not sell, the portal to the scrapyard after we build it.

Do we have a steady source of gems?

If buying recipies leveled the chef, then perhaps the same could happen for Helepolis. Try that.

I'm all for hiring out unused facilities for extra income. Though logically, it's going to put quite a bit of stress on us every week.

Rubies level indicates the areas she can safely loot.  Hitting her will double her level.

If we're going to do the leasing idea, it's probably a good idea to get the Office lady working out the details of making it not stressful, while our accountant and Ferra work out how much we can lease without causing an impact on current and future iron intakes.

Also, I'm on board with the idea of pouring all of the research into Patchy's thing and using the remainder (if any) for Money Trees. 

If possible, get Helepolis to massage Joan in an attempt to relax her due to the injuries.

If we send Heather to find livestock, maybe we should Ruby with her for protection (assuming she goes looking for wild animals).

Might as well get us a massage while we're at it.

Lastly, I think we should get Apophis to search out some books on architecture around town.

Apparently, Thomas the Tank Engine isn't one to take crap from anyone.

I think we should proceed with the naming, there are only 3 left and all increase income, so why not finish that before we jump to the next "construction site"? Cause with that increased income we can think about renting a Foundry till we have our own instead of renting out our Portal.

Also we need to use some kind of standardisation so let's Ferra and/or Eskarina look for some "Engineering Reference/Data Books".

Naming can wait a turn or two, none of the remaining devils have useful enough functions to warrant taking priority over increasing our wood and iron intake this turn.

Artisan can be named next turn. I'd like to see their Atelier built right after the Casting Chamber, too, given how cheap it is.

Hm....  Checking over things, I think something important might have been overlooked as fluff (or it could be you all know and aren't worried).

Makai is something of a contained space.  While giving people access to a resource portal will get lots of money, letting people know you can create portals will cause your notoriety to skyrocket.

Yes, but it won't do anything in this case.  The exhaustion kicks in at the start of the next week, so any attempt to cure it must wait until then.

Cure devil alone also won't deal with the magical exhaustion (since it's also a mental effect), though it would be better then nothing.  It might allow the devil to perform their basic tasks to some degree.

Okay, I think I cleared out all the conflicting orders by using unoccupied devils to cover.  So here we go.

Week 11 Results

Yuki: "Finally.  That's done."

Kirala's smile returned.  "Of course!  I'm even able to cut gems to be fit for magical work.  If you want, I can put the money I get from crafting into acquiring raw gems and cutting them to your specifications."

"Would that actually be better then buying gems?" Yukai asked.

Kirala thought over the matter for a bit.  "I'll need to check with Hibachi, but I'm pretty certain we can make a profit there."

Yuki smiled.  "That's great!  Even if I don't need the gems we can sell them for quick money then.  I'll let you get to work!"

"Ah, Miss Yuki.  A request!"  Kirala pulled out a sketchpad and some pencils.  "I'd like my first painted as a named devil to be of you."

Yuki actually felt herself blush at the request.  "I'd be honored.  And I suppose I have some free time right now if you wanted to start."

Kirala nodded.  "That's great.  In that case let me get my easel while you strip."

"....  I'm honored, but my first painting will NOT be a nude."

"Damn."

As a named devil her level is automatically increased by one.  For naming a devil, Morale and Max Morale have increased by 5.

5: Helepolis - Give Joan a massage

Yuki: "Note to Apophis.  Study needs more soundproofing."

Joan is healed.  You gain 1 stress.

6: Heather -  Hunt down livestock

Heather: "I got some red rabbits.  They breed three times faster then normal ones!"

Gained 50 income.  Income for the next two months increased by 50.

7: Sakaki - Get more wood.

Sakaki: "Doing overtime then!"

You gained 25 more wood.

Yuki buried her face in her hands.  "I'm ignoring their crimes because they're a CRIME CARTEL.  We don't want to get involved in that."

Mai pointed at her.  "Can you say that knowing the victims they will leave behind!?"

Elspeth leaned over and whispered in Yuki's ear.  "They heard about us recently.  Mai thinks they're going to try a raid unless someone distracts them."

Yuki paused.  "Oh."  After a moment she began to see the brilliance of Mai's strategy.  With a couple of masked crime fighters running about people would investigate the perfectly normal mansion outside of town less.

"Alright.  Let's do this Mai."

"Good call.  But first Black Cat, we must train..."

Shinki looked down from the fortress Pandemonium and considered the matter for a moment.  Then she signaled for her maid to attend her.  Yumeko phased through the walls to get to her goddesses side.

"Yes Lady Shinki?"

Shinki pointed at the large bonfire in the rich quarter of the city.  "What's that there?  I can tell it's not a normal fire."

Yumeko looked down at the area then nodded.  "It seems to be the complex of one of the criminal groups you allowed to exist, since squashing them out only seemed to cause more wars to break out."

Shinki considered the matter.  "Hm... I guess I should look at it directly."  The goddess of Makai closed her eyes and allowed her mind to gaze on the events of the past.

After a few seconds she smiled.  "We I suppose things like this happen now and then.  Be a dear and make sure it doesn't escalate too much would you Yumeko?"

Yuki swore as Marie wrapped the bandaged around her torso.  "Damn it, be more careful."

Marie glared at her.  "I told you, no pain pills until you explain HOW you broke your ribs."

Yuki grimiced.  This was going to be another long day....

Name Devil - 100 mana - Special: You must name the devil. - Pick an unnamed devil.  That devil gains the name you desire and 1 level of skill immediately.  In addition, named devils are far more likely to succeed at special tasks and add to defense.  Named devils may gain other special abilities as well.
Create Money - 1 mana - Creates $2
Create Wood - 5 mana - Creates 1 wood
Create Iron - 10 mana - Creates 1 iron
Create Gems - 20 mana - Creates 1 gem
Charm Devil - 10 mana - Removes negative mental effects from a devil.  Costs morale.
Cure Devil - 30 mana - Heals a Devil of any physical condition. Nameless devils cost 1 gem more.  Removing Death costs 5 gems more.
Enhance Devil - 50 mana - Doubles Devils effectiveness at the cost of a week of exhaustion.  Only affects named devils.
Empower Gem - 1 gem 100 mana - Gives you 50 mana to use later.
Planar Portal - 10 gems 50 mana or 15 gems 100 mana - Creates a portal to a location inside/outside of Makai.

Special Actions - Maximum 7 - Limit one per devil/magician
Stress Relief - Helepolis.  Removes d10+5 stress.
Grind levels - Ruby.  Helps (slowly but safely) level Ruby and gets random drops.
Dance Party - Requires Dancer, Bartender.  Devils do not become bored at the end of the week.  Morale may be gained, and stress may be gained or lost depending on RNG.  This party costs d4 * 4d10 in cash.  Butler can decrease the multiplier.
Fight Crime - Mai.  This weeks event is canceled and reduces notoriety.  Mai and Yuki may be injured.
