Wouldn't it be better if we build Moat and fence now? I may be wrong but I think with a Notoriety of 92 the next visit of not so friendly neighbours will be one size larger.

Week 10 Results

Building Phase

Sakaki - "Fence and moat.  Done and done!"

You build a fence with a tiny moat around it.  It's decently far from your house to allow expansion.

Fence and Moat - Buildings protected.  +10 defense.

Research Phase

Artificers Forge - 5

Yuki: "Aha!  That was it!"
You successfully learn how to build an artificers forge.

Artificers Forge -      95 gems, 190 iron    -  Can forge tools and other artifacts.

Ferra: "Ooooooh.... Shiny....."

Research for Patchouli - 115

Yuki: "I could probably finish this off in a week if I really pushed it.

Yuki frowned.  "We don't actually have a troupe here to work with."

Maya nodded.  "It's okay.  I can work with other groups or do solo work just fine.  However until we get a stage I won't be able to go all out.  Unless you'll lift that ban on the dance of the seven..."

"Not a chance."

Maya sighed.  "Stage managers...."
Spells:

As a named devil her level is automatically increased by one.  For naming a devil, Morale and Max Morale have increased by 5.

Maya     Dancer   1   +50 income.


Maya:  "We don't have room for a stage yet, but I can still help Glenda."

1: Eskarina - Hunt down a place that contains Iron

Eskarina: "Hm...  There's a scrapyard in one of the lesser hells.  I can send Ruby there to clean it out."



2: Ruby - Get Coordinates

Ruby: "Time to clear the floor trash

Ruby gained 112 XP!  Ruby gained 48 iron, 15 gems, $360
Ruby gained a level.  Ruby learned Nightsever!


Ferra: "Well we can open the gate, but until I have a foundry I can't really work it fast enough to get constant production going."

3 + 4: Glenda + Maya - Disreguard Fame. Aquire Currency.

Glenda: "Right.  I can do that."
Maya: "Time for my named debue!"

The two managed to make $200, notoriety increased by 8.

5: Mai - Study the scroll

Mai: "Aha.  I've got something"

Mai learns Enhance Devil

Mai: "With this we can suffuse a devil with power and knowledge.  It'll double their effectiveness.  But they'll become exhausted for the next week."

Enhance Devil - 50 mana - Doubles Devils effectiveness at the cost of a week of exhaustion.  Only affects named devils.

6: Hibachi - Get more wood

Hibachi: "For free?  Well I can do that.  The market will suffer of course..."

Hibachi gained 24 wood.  Wood prices rose.

7: Artisan - Aquire cash.

Artisan: "I'm better with gems... But I suppose I could just have Hibachi sell them."

Artisan gained $89

8: Chou - Increase recipies

Chou: "I found the perfect book!  But I'll need some supplies to use these recipies."

Chou spent $700 on supplies.  Chou gained a level!

Chou   Cook   3   $60 income, Devils are less likely to become bored, +?% bar income

Yuki proceeded to walk to the main entryway, setting a few passing annoyances on fire as she did (thank Shinki they made the place fireproof) then yelled up at Ruby (who seemed to be fighting a cyborg soldier), "Why are there Nazi's in my house!?"

Ruby shrugged and ducked a laser bolt while reclaiming her hat.  "They followed me home.  Can I kill them?"

"Can you?" Yuki reasonably asked.

"Er, if he let's me get a spell off," the devil replied.

Yuki sighed and lit the man up like a torch.  "No time for that.  We've got to make sure everyone else is okay."

At the end of the day Yuki found herself very glad they'd made the moat this week.  The only injury was Joan, who apparently took a bullet for Hibachi.  Fortunately Joan's healing abilities were stronger then most devils so Marie just suggested light work for the week.
Yuki: "Ruby, I don't care HOW integral a tragic doomed hometown is to the genre, you are not allowed to bring your enemies home."

Ruby: "Yes, ma'am.  Sorry ma'am."
Events:
Nazis....  Why did it have to be Nazis?  Fortunately the devils handle most of it with the new defenses.  Joan is injured, and the mansion takes $45 in damages.  You gain 6 stress

Create Wood - 5 mana - Creates 1 wood
Create Iron - 10 mana - Creates 1 iron
Create Gems - 20 mana - Creates 1 gem
Charm Devil - 10 mana - Removes negative mental effects from a devil.  Costs morale.
Cure Devil - 30 mana - Heals a Devil of any physical condition. Nameless devils cost 1 gem more.  Removing Death costs 5 gems more.
Enhance Devil - 50 mana - Doubles Devils effectiveness at the cost of a week of exhaustion.  Only affects named devils.
Empower Gem - 1 gem 100 mana - Gives you 50 mana to use later.
Planar Portal - 10 gems 50 mana or 15 gems 100 mana - Creates a portal to a location inside/outside of Makai.

Special Actions - Maximum 7 - Limit one per devil/magician
Stress Relief - Helepolis.  Removes d10+5 stress.
Grind levels - Ruby.  Helps (slowly but safely) level Ruby and gets random drops.
Dance Party - Requires Dancer, Bartender.  Devils do not become bored at the end of the week.  Morale may be gained, and stress may be gained or lost depending on RNG.  This party costs d4 * 4d10 in cash.  Butler can decrease the multiplier.

Okay, we really need to stop not giving Hibachi a set amount of wood to buy. That's the second week in a row.

Anyway, I propose we go all out on getting wood this week and aim for that Casting Chamber. I'm tired of a 100 Mana max.

Unless you're suggesting having all the Devils go gather wood or something, good luck with getting 200~ wood. We can't afford half of that.

Also, we've nearly named all the devils, so that will give us a LOT more mana to work with each week.

Wood prices up >.< And at this rate, we should go and buy some wood, or make some through Mana...

To speed things up, I was thinking we should buy like 400 or 500 Money worth of Wood.

We are going to need Gems and Iron as well for things like Casting Chamber and the Artificers Forge. Maybe sending Hibachi to find some(Like 5-10 Gems) without raising the price on them >.> Didn't the Artisan mention being better at making Gems then Money? If so, let's have her take a swing at making some.

As much as I hate to say this, building occurs before the weekly production.

On a better note, Hibachi's market manipulation will slowly even out over time.
