> Find a rock and toss it at the pillar.
> Prepare for the worse.

>Bracing yourself for something incredibly unpleasant, you find a loose rock, pick it up and throw it at the pillar. It bounces off with a slight pinging sound and clatters back to the ground. Nothing else seems to happen.

>Not that you can see. Just a large featureless rocky pit.

>The history of this place before this event is vague, almost like it was intentionally hidden. You can't tell if there was anything here.

>You're not really sure. It's possible there are esoteric techniques that could shield things from your senses, in much the same way that people can shield things from other magical senses.

>You don't think so. It isn't that the past here, beyond 7 years ago, has been altered. Just that you can't read it very well. You don't think that's something you'd be capable of.

>Other than the fact that it appears to cover the immediate area, and nowhere else, you can't tell much. You doubt it's covering up a major event of some sort, or you suspect you would have heard about it through more mundane means. Despite being an isolated corner of Gensokyo, behind foothills and away from more or less everyone, you doubt they could keep anything loud and flashy hidden through this means alone. For that matter, you don't know that history was specifically what was being hidden here, but rather one of many senses being screened away.

>"Might have a point," Mokou admits. "Make sure you come out without anything broken, ok?"
>"Flower lady is scary," Rumia says.

>You've had very few dealing with her, and none of them especially unpleasant. Her reputation does proceed her, but you suspect much of it is born more from fear of her than actual menace she's intentionally projecting. She's known to be very touchy, and is of course extremely protective of her garden, whose flowers might even be tantamount to children in her eyes. Still, she is generally courteous. You're honestly not certain how she'll react to uninvited guests in her home at night.

>You leave the crater and fly off towards the garden. Despite both being within the same area Patchouli marked, they're actually relatively far away from each other. The was no scale on the map you looked at, but it must be a couple kilometers, anyway.
>You don't notice any sign of Yuka at a distance; the sunflowers do a very good job of hiding forms beneath them.

>For the most part, the garden doesn't look especially groomed, and is without obviously large paths. There are some spaces which are slightly more open than others, though, and you could probably walk through them without disturbing anything unduly.

>You left Rumia and Mokou back at the crater, and are well past communication range with them now.

>You pick a suitable landing spot and head towards it. As you get closer, you think you can actually make out Yuka's form on top of a small rise, sitting and looking up at the moon.
