I'm actually pretty flexible with how characters turn out, really. I just don't like unrepetant dickery. Though I DO tend to push for Ran and Chen being on at least friendly terms.

Speaking of which, I once wrote a KaguyaxCirno fic. Beyond that, I never really gave favorite pairings, platonic or otherwise, a lot of thought.

Generally speaking, I like PowerfulxWeak pairings in erotica, for personal reasons.

Wasn't there a translated doujinshi where Kaguya and Star Sapphire switch places? Kaguya does all sorts of dumb stuff with the other two fairies, and they suspect something is off about the Star-cosplaying Kaguya... I think. My memory of this isn't very good right now

Given the lifespans of those involved you can ship both.  Not that I speak form experience or anything....

Hm...  Most of my shipping sets are boring same old same old.

For friendships that need more limelight, Kogasa/Medicine is an awesome team up which needs more love.  Alice and the three fairies of light is a cannoical friendship that needs more screen time.  Also I like the Alice - Sanae dynamic.  I also have Momiji and Sanae as friends, but that's a personal oddity.

I paired (a little) MaryxReimu in my fic, but I mostly paired MaryxRenko. Now, the list of shippings i adore:
MariAli: YEAH! And Alice doesn't need to be tsundere. Any Alice is fine. It's just that... they have a lot in common. Alice really like Marisa as a friend (she is willing to help her, and Marisa is willing to help Alice. I remember that in SaBND Alice made the fairies go with Marisa, so I think that she has to trust her to do that), and I can imagine her laughing at Marisa's actions. And them doing and experiment together. I can imagine them slowly realizing how much time they spend together and then BAM! cuteness.
YoumuxSakuya: Youmu is one of my favourite characters. Sakuya has one of my favourite personalities. And they both exchanging things about their mistresses (Sa: My mistress wouldn't aknowledge that she wet her bed. Yo: My mistress wouldn't acknowledge that she ate all the food in the fridge) is something that can turn out to be cute and hilarious.
CirnoxLetty: (Ci: I-I will play with Letty today, it's finally winter!) CIrno doesn't see letty between winters, making her miss Letty. Cirno knowing her feelings for Letty and acting like a child with her teacher is simple epicness to me.
YuugixParsee: A pairing that has an acceptable tsundere. I can imagine Yuugi making Parsee go to some places with her and not realizing how Parsee feel for her, although jealous says so. (Pa: You are always with her, I'm so jealous! Yuu: Oh yeah? Am I such a good friend?)
EikixKomachi: We all know that Komachi slacks off. Shikieiki has never fired her, why? That's what we don't know...Do we? Shikieiki, trying to do things right, might not say what she feel, but maybe Komachi one day says something that makes Shikieiki's feelings come out. (Ko: "You are so cute when you are angry!" Shi: "W-What?!" Ko: "Hey, you are blushing!" Shi:"I'm not!" Ko: "Your tounge will get ripped out!")
