I just love the possibilities for the relationship between the two. Reimu is the annoyed friend and Suika is the excessively happy and laidback friend. And for whatever bizarre reason I just think Suika helping out around the shrine is cute. And Suika is totally still living at the shrine! In my heart... ;.;
Either way, I never really liked the idea of her living in heaven much.

Well, not so much them being friends as Yukari being a pain in the butt for Reimu. I like to think of her as a mentor for Reimu of sorts who gives Reimu hell just to keep her on her toes.

-Parsee, Kisume, and Yamame
Maybe just because I like the three of them, maybe just because of that one Walfas flash, so I guess this is purely fanon related. I like to think of Kisume and Yamame as sort of best friends with Parsee as a close friend they put up with because they know she doesn't mean a lot of what she says. But I also have a sort of tsundere Parsee in my mind... >.>;

There are really only two couples I 'ship in my head.
The first is your bog-standard VERY reciprocated Yuyuko/Yukari.
The second is a bit of complete crack.  Lily/Yuka.  I just think they're meant for each other for some strange reason.
This is despite the fact I think Remi/Sakuya is pretty damn close to canon...I just still don't like it as more than master and servant.

But as for just interactions I like to see...
Yeah, SW's "entire Palace of the Earth Spirits" is probably on top of my list.  So...freaking...cute...
Marisa playing off of her teammates/Kourin/Reimu is just awesome.
Yuyuko and Youmu.  Complete and absolute devotion, without the need for fate hax.  And Yuyu knows how to use it for maximum lulz.
Remilia in full-on Lawful Evil mode with the rest of SDM.  Patchy is a bonus.
Prismriver Sisters, whether feuding or cooperating.  They kinda hit the same bit on me as the SA cast, just not nearly to the same degree.
And of course we can't forget Team Science!  Even if they never met, just the concept of getting Nitori, Rika, Rikako, and Yumemi in the same place makes me feel all tingly.

Eh, could be a little of both. If Patchouli really thought it was that big of a deal, she'd probably ask one of the other SDM residents to do something about it, and I'm sure most of them would happily oblige.

Hmm, I've always thought it was a bit of a one-sided friendship: Patchouli is generally not interested in people, and therefore has lacking social skills. Marisa is one of the few people that intrigue her, and she occasionally stops to chat with Patchouli while stealing books. Patchouli, unsure of how to communicate, either brushes her off, because she knows how to do that as a normal person, or occasionally stops her with danmaku for a duel, if she's feeling in the mood. Also, she'd get worried and lonely if Marisa takes lnger than usual to come steal books, since she considers her "a freind" in some sort of way.
