That flan shot is pretty questionable for me too >=P.

In mini-mode the Yukari pic looked good, but upon closer inspection it's not my style.

It seems really hard to find a good Yukari picture with a pretty face without being over the top with boobs or cleavage or something.

Anyone have any level recommendations for the Ver. 2 Boss Rush? I'm probably grossly overleveled now after grinding a bit for Shikeiki (Meiling wasn't quite to the needed HP totals, since I leveled HP/DEF equally) and the massive amount of exp gained from 27F (I'm Reimu 273 now, btw).
Aside from that, it's just Utsuho, Seals Ver.2, and everything after the 27F boss (who I've yet to fight either). The end is more and more in sight though.

I'm not sure what a good level is for it myself. I pretty much did the same thing... 270 for Eiki though? dammnnn, that's high itself.

Boss rushv2 is really pretty easy after like a simple 20ish levels after you unlock I think it as long as you're careful with yuugiv2 (She still smoked 2 of my guys when I did it), Yuyuko..and maybe Yukari 2.0 if you don't have suwako (with Suwako she's pretty simple).

Lol, I wasn't 270 for Eiki, that would be ridiculous. I was 250 or a little bit less from the grinding for the SKP to make Meiling survive Last Judgement.
And Suwako is my party's strongest switch-Nuker :V

EDIT: Went ahead and did the Ver. 2 Rush. Was pathetically easy. I thought I was going to have to fight the Final Boss ver. 2 again, which is why I waited so long to do it. As it was, it was a joke. Only lost characters to Yuyuko's opener because I couldn't remember who had much DTH resistance. Otw, it was way easy. And now I'm level 279...which should be plenty high for Utsuho and Kedamagrammaton

Out of curiosity how would I use that Win7 offset? I know the order for hexidecimal is 0123456789ABCDEF but how do I add letters to numbers or vice-versa?

I've got a similar problem back then.
are you sure that the "Memory Scan Option" is "All", not "16-bit" or "32-bit"? (the default is 32-bit, IIRC)
that will surely cause a problem if it is wrong.

on a side note, I'm currently uploading an Audiosurf video to Youtube, playing "Dark a Liar" on Pusher Elite :V

Thanks to some help from spooked, I found out that my cheat engine was outdated and I was doing it just a tad bit wrong.

Old cheat engine versions seem to screw up the cheat tables (even if you attempt to fix them via the skill points address method) so make sure you get version 5.6.1 if you seem to be having problems.

I think what scares me most is that I went from Reimu 50 -> Reimu 91 and Flandre can still rape me hardcore. I know it's shameful to cheat the game but I wouldn't have lasted on a normal file so this is my way of enjoying everything I never made it to legitly. I KNOW I'M HORRIBLE.

I remember having to come back to Flan after she wiped my party in record time. When I did beat her, Tenshi, Fire resist, Wriggle's PSN, and a lucky PAR from Suwako saw me through. I'm sure with a more clever strategy and a little luck I could have beat her earlier than I did.

I don't think there's anything wrong with cheating in a single-player game and there shouldn't be any stigma attached. Just have fun but remember that you aren't playing the game as intended and so you should avoid criticizing encounters for being too easy or whatever. Multi-player games are a different story though.

Agreed. Enjoy the game as you will, just don't expect people to be happy if you try to brag about your accomplishments. :V
That being said, I love cheating in my old PC games (Baldur's Gate and such) after finishing my first playthrough. You can do some funny things. Makes me wish I had Oblivion on my PC instead of my XBOX for hilarious spell creation and NPC antics.

Have Tenshi tank, eat her alive with NTR, SPI, and CLD nukes. I beat her around 60 with Tenshi, Sanae, and Kaguya. Sanae buffed Kaguya, Kaguya spammed Hourai Barrage, Tenshi tanked and switched them both out before Laveateins.

Not much to say when you first begin. You should pick up most of the strategies you need to succeed as you play. Just take a look at the bosses on the wiki before you fight them and try to exploit their weaknesses.

For when you can start choosing who to bring with you into the labyrinth, I would suggest you have
1-2 Tanks + 1-2 Healers
At least one DEF nuker and one MND nuker, and someone who can effectively pierce defenses (Patchy, for most of the game)
Some buffers, chosen depending on the rest of your party makeup.

Patchy(Go muk-- Err... Nuke.)
Renko(Dehabilitate/Galaxy Stop)
Eiki(Last Judgement)
Mystia(Should I use her for nuking or mysterious song'ing?)
Flan (Glass Cannon :derp:)
Alice (Debuffer)
Youmu (Physical Attacker)
Reimu (Heal/ MND/DEF buff)
Eirin (Hourai Elexir Komachi when needed)

What do you guys think?

2. learn about affinities.
3. read here and there about how to build who.

Don't build everyone for damage. Unlike your typical RPG, well-planned buff/debuff and status effect usage will get you a lot further than damage racing everything with glass cannons in most cases.

Also, always have Meiling, Remilia, Tenshi, or (in some cases) Komachi in the first slot. You want tanks so you don't get partywiped by multitarget attacks or continually lose people to first-slot physical strikes.

Also, learn how to switch characters effectively. Tactfully switching characters is the backbone of many successful strategies. Watch some videos of late-game battles on Youtube to get a feel of what I mean, if you want.

EDIT2: If you could tell me the address of your single scan result that would be great. It'll save time the next Vista user has problems

Just for reference, I was running Labyrinth english version 3.01 without applocale.

EDIT: This solves my problem of missing one goddamn equip for the item star! Seriously the drop rate is way too low. Compound that with the fact that Demonskys are HARD to find.

EDIT2: Wtf I ran the game again, checking the address, and it changed to 00121808! What happened? Does the address change which each new instance of the game?

Woo! Beat the last of the Touhou character bosses today with Okuu, and beat Kedama Jesus thanks to Kaguya/Suwako attack spam, w/minor help from 18F's SGS. Even took 3 Rankain's to the face, surviving all of them thanks to prodigious buffs. Reisen kind of got slagged though :V

When do you think it's safe to move on to 28F btw? the wiki makes it seem really hard.

It's fun cheating this game. I ran around with no encounters so exploring the bitchy floors was... still bitchy but a lot less so as I imagine.

I have to say, 18F is probably one of the best floor designs I've seen yet. Sure it's annoying, but it's so well-designed to be so. I love how theres a trillion paths and yet, only 1 leads to the next floor. Everything just flows. The music on 17-18F is freaking amazing too.

Goto 28f (and 29f) right away if you like, there are no bosses there so if the trash seems hard simply run away or whatever.

Will Reisen be of much use on the Seals ver. 2 and the final bosses? I was thinking of replacing either her or Alice in my main party with Shikeiki. Both Reisen and Alice are really only used in boss battles now.

I removed the wings from Aya_v1 and I think she looks better now, although I don't know about those stupid pom-poms. I wanted to fit her fan in the frame but it just won't work.
