anyway, I'm pretty sure there's gonna be more than just the fairies we already know. I'm assuming this is going to be similar to the normal Touhou games except with cirno, and an added ability to freeze danmaku in place. Since it was described as a 'danmaku freezing game'.

well fairies have always been pushed around by reimu and marisa and others, so its good that they're getting their own game. Perhaps Reimu will be the final boss? :derp:

Yep, Dai-chan's got a passable chance, as she's a fairy and she appeared in the manga (even if she didn't get a speaking role).

Koa appeared as well interestingly, but I'm not going to make any bets there.  I'd find it totally awesome if she did appear though.  Same with Tokiko.

Frankly, Cirno is a natural part of Gensokyo, are..

She's been around so long, and has been featured in multiple games. So, are, I think the deal with Sanae and and Aya were that they were given playing roles too early. So I wouldn't worry about out little nine-ball, there might even be more fanart for her after this. Oh, and Cirno game~~Just think about it.

Well, "Fairy Wars" makes me think of the title appearing in yellow outlines, flying away from the camera into a starfield, accompanied by orchestral brass ...
