>You go and have another look at the pantry. There's some fruit and more bread. There's a few fresh vegetables, a large amount of rice, and smaller amounts of flour, sugar and other staples. You seem to have a few onigiri already prepared. There also appears to be a little beef in the icebox. It might be possible to cook her something close to a hamburger, if you had the time.

>"Okay, I need to go do some things, Rumia. Just wait here a bit."
>Give her some blank paper, ink, and a pen. "Here, um, you can draw while I'm gone. Just don't spill the ink or splatter it anywhere. Try not to make any messes."
>Demonstrate penmanship, if needs be. Then hurry off to school.

>You go fetch some writing supplies and set her up on a surface as far away from fragile and valuable things as possible. You give her a small demonstration, and she quickly seems rather taken with it. She immediately tries to imitate what you just wrote with.... well, you can cut her some slack, you guess. At least she didn't upend the ink all over the paper. She seems more than content enough for the time-being, though.

>You gather the necessary materials and quickly head off towards school, locking the door behind you. Soon, it comes into sight, and you can see a number of students slowly trickling into it, varying considerably in age, from those being guided by their parents to those old enough that they could probably be out working, instead, if they chose to. The village never had enough population for strict grade segregation, and you imagine that's even more true now.

>Head inside. Acknowledge any greetings.
>Look for teaching assistants.

>You head into the school, exchanging brief pleasantries with a couple people along the way. It's a good thing that you still know most of these people. It actually feels strangely normal, compared to most of what you've been doing since this all happened.
>The entryway connects to a short hallway. As near as you can tell, there appear to be three small classrooms, and then stairs towards the second floor where you observed the offices from outside, earlier. Students are filtering into two of these rooms of their own accord.
>You notice one of the assistant teachers from your own village. Perhaps this won't be so awkward, after all?
>"Well, I suppose I had to show up before you at least once, hey?" she says, smiling at you.

>Yes, three classrooms. Although, you notice that you only see students filing into two of them at  the moment. At least the ones which are filing in as opposed to hanging around somewhere outside until the last moment.

>"Wow, you sure you're ok, Keine?"

Don't we already know the lesson plan?

Don't we already know the lesson plan?

It's good to collaborate it, and she might have details that weren't "important" enough to go into the notes. Especially if it involves changed history like those weird lights and whatever other changes came from moving to the mountain.

> Oh *beep*, another thing we don't know

>Yeah, that's getting a little tiring. It would have been nice if you'd been furnished with a set of timeline-appropriate memories when the world changed around you. On the other hand, would you have even been able to realize something was wrong, then....?

> "No, I'm pretty sure its not like last time" I mean how many times does history get changed

>She grows even more concerned looking, if such a thing is possible. You think you catch her subtly trying to smell your breath.
>"I... don't really know what your lesson plan was. At least not in any detail. I mean, early Edo politics, and geometry and, well... what did you want me to do to help?

>Well, the detail is rather skeletal compared to the notes, but at least it doesn't contradict them.

>"Need the time? What is this really about, Keine? Is it anything I could help with at all?"

>Consider this temptation's side effects!

>Well, you are essentially in charge of the school, so you could probably get away with it, even if it raised some eyebrows. There might be some dissatisfied parents, and there's a very real possibility that people might gossip about it, and WHY you did it. You have to wonder what she was referring to, before... It might also be a bit unfair to your fellow teacher, if you're already down 1 of 3. But nothing's stopping you from doing it anyway.
