Kanako's opener is not too bad. It dies very quickly and is positioned in the beginning of the fight.

Have your capture rate on VoWG improved? A difficult opener is not much of a reason to not perfect a fight. After all, its fast to restart if you fail it.

I can think of a great many reasons not to perfect a fight and only one (albeit good) reason to, but whatever. An opener that stops 7/10 attempts is a pretty big deterrent, even if it's an improvement over 9/10.

In other news, I captured LFO once more, using spastic dodging which I will eventually get around to showcasing in a video (though not this one). I swear this is turning into one of my favorite spell cards simply because of how I keep getting away with these kinds of captures.

And no, my capture rate of VoWG is still very low. I always make just one mistake, and I don't care if you say "you should do better," because I ALWAYS make one mistake. >:V

As demonstrated. Random run of Kanako thanks to this, got lucky and captured the opening, perfected until Source of Rains (another reason I don't want to perfect: I still have Yamato Torus and Source of Rains to deal with), and ran into a wall cluster the final dodge of VoWG before I captured it.

First 1cc of any Touhou game on Hard difficulty. I know, I know it's IN, but it technically counts.

Now I know some of y'all don't give two hoots or a holler about this stuff because you were doing high-score runs and capturing 70% of all the spell cards on a single run on Lunatic while in the womb while your central nervous system was still in development, but I have been playing these games for three and a half years and this is the best I have done yet. I worked real darn hard for this. I had 7 failed attempts just today, and this last time I made it through so much of the stuff that had caused me frustration before to make it to the end.

Hm, not bad I guess. Died once on Murasa's third nonspell because I haven't burned it into my brain yet. The first two were much simpler, so it didn't take long at all to memorize those (seriously, only a few runs). Also includes my first ever captures of Murasa's last two cards, yay.

It's always great to add a new player to the Hard mode tier list.

You'll probably have to tackle the rest of the Extras, and by extension, Normal modes before you go for a PCB or MoF Hard 1cc, though. Those would be my recommendations for a harder challenge.

Oh, wait, I have to include GFW and its Extra mode in that list, too, dammit. Why haven't I unlocked Extra yet when I can 1cc MoF Lunatic?

If you really want to, just 1cc easy modo.
The hard part is actually beating extra, which is quite hard (even after I 1cc EoSD lunatic, I still %#^%$@ fail)

Dammit i hate this one. Got this one because SanaeB is apparently too weak to capture a spell at 3xx power. Okay it probably have something to do with the fact that i didn't stay under Ichirin for much time.

I don't know if there is some sort of divine strategy for this card but for me its just pick spot and pray what comes out from the purple hands is dodgable.

I would probably have liked the card a lot more if those hands weren't there. Nothing to camouflage the bullets (which isn't a fair way to make difficult imo) and a little more vertical space to move in. That would be Starbow Break Lunatic edition. Instead its this card.

No really. Clear all routes on easy and it should unlock. And the Fairy Wars Extra stage is Faily.

Its not easy but if you can't do it without freezing its hard to appreciate a hard extra stage...

EDIT: Not easy compared to other extra stages that is. Just clearing through is reasonable because of lol many lives.

Aside from the lack of vertical alignment with Unzan's hitbox, you handled it quite well. If you want to go for pure survival, the spell card is much easier to dodge if you hug either side of the screen.

That would be interesting if i ever get around to getting that "get it over with" 1cc i'll probably do sometime. When i'm practicing i'm naturally more interested in captures.

Right now I played LLS for the first time. I 1cc'd Normal mode on my first try, then I went and beat Extra on my first try too.
I don't know if I should be proud or not because that Extra stage seemed fairly easy (compared to Alice's :ohdear:).

In the annals of silly accomplishments, a 1DNB timeout of Kanako's opener on my fifth or so try. I don't quite hate myself and my eyes enough to go for a perfect timeout, though this attack really doesn't seem so bad. Also, I capture VoWG!

Yeah that was the conclusion i reached too. After surviving down to 20 seconds my eyes was pretty much reduced to jelly.

I just 1cc'd PCB Hard with Reimu A. I think I died only 3 or 4 times, though I used too many bombs in stage 4 and 5  :blush:. It was also the first time I have the maximum amount of lives in stock full (stupid Lunasa started breaking it down though.)

During the same run I captured 50% Reflowering  :3
I actually believe I can 1cc Lunatic, because I beat silly Yuyuko with like 7 lives remaining.
