I've unlocked and beaten all last words except those which require you to clear 30 last spells, beat hard/lunatic with Reimu solo and see all other last words. I figure they belong to Marisa, Remilia and Yukari. I find it amusing that Wriggle's last words is the most difficult, or took the most attempts to capture in anycase (about 120 tries  :ohdear:) other difficult ones were Fantasy Heaven and Total Purification.
But then I captured the last words of Eirin and Mystia on my first time ever seeing the attack.  :V

There are no such things as walls.  :V

That game has smaller hitbox doesn't it?
And a bullet formation that is so dense that there is no visible gaps is pretty much the same as a bullet formation so dense that you can't pass through it.

By what measure is a non-visible g(ry

The only time something is truly a wall is when hitboxes overlap, and you would be surprised how rarely this happens. Vampire Illusion and Scarlet Gensokyo are the only two times that come to mind where this happens to any significant scale.

Bury In Lake :smug:

Wipe that :smug: off your face, you haven't explained to me how that's undodgable. Difficult to see maybe with the bubble bullets, annoying due to the wonky hitboxes, but never impossible.

Basically, you can never call something undodgable until you put it through many tests and trying many different methods. This is the power of spell card theory! :SCIENCE!:

What level of math are we talking about?

I used to like math btw, now I can't stand it.

Congrats on the EoSD Lunatic 1cc.

Yeah, it isn't proper math before modern analysis and group theory. And finite-dimensional spaces suck.

This was the math thread, right?

The only time something is truly a wall is when hitboxes are separated by less than diameter of Reimu's hitbox

Fixed.

However, I think Vampire Illusion and Scarlet Gensokyo "walls" have plenty of space, but the bullets overlap a lot and the spaces change around quickly so it's really really difficult to read and micrododge.

On the other hand...

I've suddenly become able to manage Murasa's first two nonspells. After not even playing her for weeks. And I have them mostly memorized after only a couple of attempts. I'm still working on the third, but I have a pretty good idea of what it's like.

You and me Satori...we're nearing the end of this endless cycle of hatred. You and me Satori...we're finally going to get to stop fighting. Because as soon as I can capture Double Death Butterfly and Flying Insect's Nest in a row again, we'll be gold. If you just let me safespot that BoWaP, we can finish this...I finally feel like this horrific goal can be achieved.

EDIT: Actually, there it goes. If it were any other boss, perfecting through the use of a safespot would be a hollow victory, but here it just feels so nice~

I have never seen an impossible Bury in Lake. Personally i find Megalith much more menacing because of EoSD-bubbles. A shame. It would probably be a blast if not for that.

But really... I don't know about you guys but i got other things to do than play shmup games. How much time are you required to put into every single spellcard before declaring it undogable?

And everything is probably dodgable in some way or another. Sometimes you just need to play things at 1/6 speed in order to do it. Peerless Wind God probably also always have gaps somewhere.

EDIT:

Get request. Try once. Fulfill it.
Kogasa's Train Card Lunatic timeout
Got some very close calls. I forgot what i was doing but still managed to pull through by some miracle.

Are we speaking about everyone in general or just about Sour Grape Banana?  :V

Me, I used to put about 5-10 attempts into a card before declaring it an autobomb as far as full runs are concerned, but yeah, it's obvious that almost anything is possible after you put enough SCIENCE into it, even if it takes retarded amounts of time.

I normally give things those 5-10 attempts and if i'm not getting on to something i usually go ask if somebody knows something magical. Then go back and try a little more maybe. But I need something to go by.

But sometimes its also pure laziness. Take Source of Rains. I almost always die/bomb there because i fail redirecting it properly and cause bullets to form "walls". I think the card is stupid so its basically a waste of time to play it.

Radiant Treasure Gun though is far more interesting so naturally i was more interested in learning more about it even though i now have lost pretty much all consistency i had on it.

Well it's hard to take Source of Rains seriously since 99% of the time you can just bomb it and enter VoWG with full power anyway  :V

First MoF Hard 1CC, after Virtue of Wind God ruined my past 10 or so attempts. Ended with 0.50 power and 0 extra lives. Terrible score, about 60,000,000 lower than my high score. Fourth hard 1CC in total.

That, of course, also heavily influences my capture rate. Its just coming back to bite me now that i kinda want that Perfect Kanako fight. She is too boring to grind so i'm just doing a run every once in a while and its quite silly that it seemingly never is VoWG's fault i haven't done it yet.

I would go for perfect Kanako if the opener didn't exist. I can redirect Source of Rains just fine, I usually clip it(or bomb to get to VoWG faster)

First "proper" (3 initial lives) 1cc. PCB with SakuA (lol). 712m isn't too bad, I guess, given what I'm seeing on the replay archive (htf do people get 216m on a hard difficulty CLEAR?)
