I personally find that while the linear bullets are the first immediate threat, they "camouflage" the real threat which is the AB bullets, and that my mind processes the card more successfully if I focus primarily on the AB bullets and dodge the linear bullets as required, which is opposite your thinking (my reasoning for this method is that the linear bullets move much more predictably, and it's easier to put those in the back of my mind, while doing the opposite and putting the AB bullets in the back of my mind tends to end with one of them sneaking up on me). Of course, whatever works for you is what works for you; I'm just offering another suggestion.
