Gosh that took a surprisingly long time, with lots of agony too!

Now, GFW Extra doesn't look any easier; if anything, it looks a lot harder! :V
The stage, especially, is freaking long and brutal like UFO, which I hated.

Congratulations on clearing UFO Extra. Be ready for a lot of trial and error and frustration with GFW Extra as it is a lot harder than UFO Extra even though GFW Extra gives you a lot more lives.

Tried to continue feed UFO Lunatic.

Clear the first 2 stageswith ReimuB without continuing despite stupid stuff like dying to Nazrin and some other stuff. I still don't get Kogasa's first and third boss cards.
Continue a few times to get by Ichirin
Stsge 4 took just 2 tries, and that was because I left Ichirin at 0/0
Stage 5 was cleared first attempt

I ended up ragequitting on Byakuren though.

Byakuren is easy to creditfeed - just get 6-7 bombs after the stage and bomb everything. :V

How do you get that many bombs with ReimuB?

I was only able to get like 4 max. And then I still ended up bombing midboss Nue some. Only captured one of Byakuren's cards before quitting due to the clipdeaths throughout the fight, Nirvana's Cloudy Way in Purple.

"Bombing everything" would work against Byakuren, if Superhuman and LFS weren't in the way. From what I remember, Byakuren doesn't take any extra bomb damage during Superhuman, and LFS is a final card, so yeah. Byakuren took way longer than Shou for me the first time, and I blame those two cards.

Enigma, I believe there's enough tokens to supply 4 large UFOs. A bomb might be needed to summon the second, but at least ReimuB has greater speed when bombing to help collection. If you use that one bomb, you'll have 6.33 for Nue. Speaking of which, I want to say each wave of hers is a randomly-oriented static pattern. Learning how to do them without bombing will help you tremendously against Byakuren (namely, more opportunities to bomb the harder stuff).

To credit feed Byakuren:
1. learn how to capture: Nue, her 1st non spell, her 2nd non spell, her 2nd spell
2. make sure you summon 4 large green UFO to collect bombs
3. bomb Byakuren, except for a couple of attacks where you can capture
4. enter Superhuman with 2/1, don't die more than once here
5. time out LFO, bomb spam last 30 seconds

Byakuren's second non-spell is a killer for sure, but it's one that I always attempt. It's a stressful attack due to the random nature, but if you think about it it's just forcing you to stream faster through the bullets.

Also a tip for both creditfeeding and for 1ccing: When you bomb LFO, don't just stand there. The waves shot out are aimed at your position. If you use your invincibility time to move high up the screen, you can stall the waves coming down and give you more time to damage Byakuren.

Didn't necessarily get too much closer to perfecting SA Stage 5 Lunatic, but I did get to try out a modified method for pellet hell #1, and it's giving me a bit more success there. Felt fun practicing that stage again after some time away from it.

Also had a 1DNB SA Stage 4 Lunatic run, on my first try in a while here too. What's great is I captured DBDB, and the death on FIN was a pretty clear mistake on my part. A perfect run feels pretty close.

I have now managed to capture Greatest Treasure a bunch of times, an attack i usually don't have a clue about how to deal with, but going close to Nazrin as the bullets spawn seem to help. I dunno why, isn't the strategy to this card something about your positioning?

A vunderful clear of GFW Extra! Reached her with 5 lives, finished the first section (dividing them by the talking periods) with 6, had 5 for the last... mwahahaha~

Oh and GFW Hard clear on my first try. It's more about freezing well then dodging well, so :3

Boy, Fairy Wars is brutal on every route not named A1. X_X The closest I've gotten to 1ccing another one on lunatic is C1, where I reached the 3 fairies.

But! While realizing Drake's ranking of the routes is either horribly off or inaccurate for lunatic and credit feeding C2, I captured Fairy Overdrive! Granted, in Sunny's version she never aims to collide with you, but shut up, it's a capture!

Yeah, that was definitely a lot easier than EoSD. I think this was only like my 5th serious attempt after some creditfeed runs to familiarize myself with the Lunatic attacks. This run was pretty ugly with lots of bombspamming and stupidity, but apparently it was still enough to clear the game.

C1 lunatic 1cc. I was not expecting to pull this off in this run due to a number of derp deaths, but there you go. I managed to capture Three Fairies, but considering Luna's version is far and away the easiest, I can't be too excited over this. Still...~ Anyone else manage this route yet?

A1 is to the rest of the routes in difficulty as Reimu A is to the other shot types in SA.

I dunno, i just wanted to get the game out of the way and picked the route which layout i was most familiar with from playing Normal mode.

Ah-ah-ah, the big difference here is that shot types bring different capabilities, whilst different routes give you different danmaku. A true masochist fan masochist must beat everything the game throws at them, therefore my long-term goal is to 1cc every route on lunatic.

Yeah, just go ahead and do that. I just didn't like this game to begin with so don't really care about the danmaku. I thought the different routes was gonna be something awesome like the alternate Stage 4 bosses from EoSD and SA.

15 different bosses in the same difficulty. Compared to 6 in SA, 4 in EoSD.
