I beat MoF extra using ReimuA. I got to the survival card for the first time on my first attempt, so I decided to keep trying. One of the runs I captured froggy braves the elements (timing out shizuha on lunatic is harder) and another one I captured snake eats the frog due to the croak on 0 power (Ha ha, old chap! bombspamming everything).

Welp, UFO Hard 1cc.

Chaining obviously wasn't perfect, but the mistakes hardly mattered. This run really felt more like a mix of using UFOs and just plain knowing the danmaku, rather than using mostly UFOs and bombs, and all that stage practice helped me to finish 3/0 (though I think one life fragment I missed in Stage 4 would have given me another life; oh well).

Now if Aya wasn't such a shitty fight, then maybe I could have no death runs of all MoF stages. Same for Reimu and Eirin on IN.

Maybe I should go after Yuyuko next as I have gotten close to no deaths on her before.

Edit: I'm also getting a little better at VoWG. Nowhere near good enough to try timeout yet.

PCB Hard 2LC. Stupid fucking ghost knives messes up the perfect Yuyuko fight i had in mind as a conclusion to my hard run that i made for the lols. Heavy rape of ghost girl is due.

Also, what's your progress on VoWG?

My best is a few 3DNB timeouts. My best for survival before a death was 41 seconds on the timer(this ended up a 5DNB timeout :blush: )

What's the exact timer on VoWG anyway? I'm not sure how many seconds of survival that was.

VoWG runs for 2:30 starting from the visual splash that occurs when the card is declared. Since it takes a bit of time to start up, the actual amount of dodging time is closer to 2:23 if you want to get technical (the first red wave starts flying past you around 7 seconds in).

I believe UKT's latest world record shows him getting around 4000, as he doesn't stay precisely under Satori for most of it (a bit to the right of her is apparently more productive). I'm still practicing getting into this position consistently, but I've gotten to it a few times and matched the graze count (I paid attention these other times).

Worked on some mid-game DS scenes and increased my score to 32 million. I can't believe I found a game I'm mildly enthusiastic at scoring in. Is there a place where I can download WR replays en masse or videos of them?

All the replays en masse is unfortunately quite impossible as the scoreboards are moving, really, really fast still

MoF if you love powering through anything you hate with bombs. SA if you love abusing ReimuA's gaphax and very easily abused bomb... unless you're a ~~Spechul Membah~~ pretty awesome person for using something else.

1cc'd Phantasmagoria of Flower View on Lunatic. Shikieiki only lasted 1 minute and 18 seconds. I've never had that happen to me. Luckily though because i had been subjected to a serious amount of cheating in Medicine's fight. I knew it would slow down my movement but damn!!!

Almost feels like Phantasmagoria lets you keep going until it decides that you need to die and dumps a pattern the speed of Kaguya's third last-spell with the randomness of Eternal Meek and the bullet density of Good Omen just to say: USE A BOMB OR DIE!

Played some more against VoWG. Improved both of my bests for it, though not in the same run.

Lowest number of deaths: 2

I really need to stop screwing up the dodging. My fails are mostly because I can't dodge, not because I can't read it.

Her EX attacks are too fast for the AI. I have also 1cc'd lunatic POFV using Aya, it's really that easy.

I guess that would explain how Shikieiki only lasted about a minute for me. But if both player and computer cheats it should even out the balance. :V
