Holy crap Satori's DBDB captured on Lunatic!

That only leaves "Small Demon's Revival" (Lunatic) for cards I've yet to capture with ReimuA. Overall this was a 1DNB run, since I accidentally rushed into a laser during FIN (I think I was otherwise approaching this card the way I should have been).

This thing reminded me that i have done a terrible neglecting of the cat so i decided to do a battle with her. Capped Catwalk and beat her 1DNB. I seem to be pretty good at ramming her needles during Ghost Wheels currently.

Who cares about replays, we want YouTube videos! I'm not subscribed to you for no reason, man.

If people makes videos of their accomplishments i'm much more likely to go watch it. its much easier than to have to download the replay, put it in the folder, in case of MoF having to make space for it, booting up the game and speeding through to the important parts in case its a timeout etc.

A youtube video is easily accessed through a link and you can even input a direct comment to the guy. Definitely a superior way of posting accomplishments. Especially because of how good quality we make them nowadays.

Nice, I perfected the post-Momiji maze for the first time. I suddenly realized a way to make cutting back easier when playing the earlier counterpart, and managed to apply it after Momiji. And for the record, I did face the "full" version of it, since I ended up deathbombing Momiji's attack. Now a perfect stage portion seems feasible.

Played UFO extra for the first time in a while today. Got a brief refresher with a replay, then 4 tries later...



Not bad, I guess. Failed two of Nue's spells, and I could've timed the blue ufo better at the end of the stage. Didn't bother supergrazing at all.

Rainbow UFOs is evil. Two deaths there, and one on Red UFOs because I wasn't paying attention. Otherwise not bad, since I got a few more "first captures".

I spent about an hour today going through some scenes in DS and improving my score. How the freaking hell did I manage 370000 on 10-8? I can get  that with only three mediocre shots. Altogether I raised my score about a million points, to 25.5 million.

...Is this a game I actually like playing for score in? D8

Why does it seems that IN Hard is harder than EoSD Hard and PCB Hard (and MoF hard but MoF Hard is :V) ?

Ok... partial accomplishment, major rage. I took on Ran again(this will be the norm for a while), I'm about to capture(!!!) Charming Siege... pichun~ then after a split second of shooting again, it ended.... T-T

The up? I can potentially Capture Charming Siege... through Leroy Jenkins maneuvers and what seemed like luck. The Down? My first good attempt at it got ruined at the very last second.

I just 1cc'd SA hard without even really trying. go figure. I tried like 6 times to do it, and I'd always fail at stage 4 or something.. This time I was all like "screw trying, just get past stage 4, bomb spam if you have to, yada yada, just so I can practice it"... I failed hard at stage 4 like I always do, reached stage 5 with only two lives..Ended up making a life thru stages 5 and 6 instead of losing them despite not even seeing most of that content!

How hard is Utsuho's rotation spellcard if you don't cheese the "safe vertical" spot? Looks pretty tough.

And is Utsuho's final 2 spellcards EASIER on hard than normal? sure seemed like it.

Irrelevant, because you simply will not be able to do the spell card without using that safespot. Go on and try, you will either fail miserably or will subconsciously always move to that vertical line to dodge the suns.

And 'grats to SenSageUn. Don't listen to Banana, a first lunatic 1cc is good even with a broken shot type.

Surely SOME people have tried/done it. I mean sometimes I do Flan's laevatein spellcard without flying around her just for the fun of it.

I agree about Sakuya. She's indeed a broken shot type, but IMO not as broken as MoF's laser Marisa, that's pretty much the only one that's on the "doesn't count" list IMO.

See, that's different. The trick to trivializing Lavatein is something that is consciously done, and is completely different than the one for Ten Evil Stars in that you will come directly into the area where you'd safespot whether you want to or not. I've tried doing Ten Evil Stars without the safespot, and like I said I captured it by squeezing into the safespot line whenever the suns drew close.

More on topic, Banana actually said something useful?! I have saved my HRtP no bombs run and am working on it now. Technically it's not a "no bombs" run since I accidentally bombed twice, but the first bomb did absolutely nothing and the second only spared me one life, of which is no matter as I finished the game with multiple lives remaining.

Funny thing is, I kept being bluh at bombing fast and lost all 6 of my extra lives on Elis before bombing, after entering the battle with full lives/bombs ;P

Beating Sariel with only 1 life/bomb was fun. I actually did get another extend while fighting her, which I bet is kinda rare.

I hope this works out. When you say "using the safespot" though, exactly how lenient are you? I have the feeling ZUN meant for the suns' hitboxes to be smaller to make the attack a bit more reasonable, though he obviously didn't notice the safebox it created (this assumes the safebox wasn't intentional, of course). I know I stayed along that line a couple of times in the process of circling around (because I knew I didn't need to move that far out of the way of each sun), but in my defense I don't think I was ever between two suns while along that line. My approach was more, dodge one sun at a reasonable distance, then dodge the second by moving behind the first, and repeat. But I guess you're the real judge of how well I did that.

Now I will feel guilty about this until I use a less-broken shottype (tbh I only used SakuyaB because I was sick of getting destroyed by Stages 2 and 5 with MarisaA ;_; )
