>She frowns. "As you wish."
>Preparation "Takeminakata Invocation"!
>Suddenly red Danmaku flies from Sanae, taking the shape of a star. Then it splits into many stars, flying right at you!

>She's still at point blank range, right? If so, launch a very large sphere from our current position. Is she's that close, it should be very hard to dodge something that large.
>Simultaneously dash backwards as fast as we can. Try to outrun the danmaku, and open up some room to actually dodge them.

> Once clear, launch a big ball of plasma at her, stay behind it so that she doesn't see you, then when you think your close enough, get out from behind it and blast her with a spread shot

>You dash backward as the stars fly out, one of them just barely grazing your torso, before the stop and begin to break apart, sending bullets everywhere.
>You unleash another large ball of Plasma, sending it flying at Sanae as she creates a wave of blue stars to match the red. It crashes through her danmaku, losing intensity as it moves along. Being in the middle of an invocation, she can't really dodge, but it seems her danmaku offers some defensive benefit as well. Shen it clears, she is still there; burnt worse, but the card is holding firm.
>You follow up with another burst of rays. She moves as the blue stars finish, grazing past your shots.

> What do we remember in our inventory?

>Your Inventory contains:
>Fusion Set (Worn as accessory)
>Green Bow (worn as accessory)
>Casual clothes (Damaged) (worn as clothes)
>Fake Institute ID
>Yumemi's Institute ID

>You, and find it cuts through through the flak without nearly so many problems as your last attack. It strikes her, illicting an actual cry of pain. The card holds, but it's on its last legs now, and you are surrounded by thick danmaku whose motions you have not not paid much attention to!

>The danmaku around you slows to a crawl. It's still dense and intimidating, but you think you can find your way through it for the time being. It's moving too slowly for you to really read, but you can tell it is moving in a lot of directions at once. This is a really nasty spellcard if you're not paying attention!

>You...think you can get there.
>You duck and weave through the sluggish danmaku, picking you way through the mess. Up ahead, you can see more red stars make their way from Sanae.

>Aim at her with the fusion beam and give it everything we've got! We have to end this before it ends us.

>You work out that you have a window, and fire!
>Pouring as much energy as you can into it, the beam cuts through the danmaku and strikes Sanae, breaking the card. You breath a sign of relief as the glowing spheres of pain around you disappears.
>Sanae looks a little burnt up; that card did a good job keeping her safe, but overall in condition enough to go a few more rounds. As such, you're rather surprised when she turns tail and flees without a word.
