Thanks for all the help. It seems that I should wait for this to be released. I think I'll go with a hard drive equipped one then. the price difference isn't that big and I don't want to miss Futari BL. That new model is actually a bit cheaper than the older Elite also available and I guess it should be less likely to break down.

Futari Maniac 1cc finished uploading. I got the settings right this time, so it looks a lot shinier than the Ketsui run. :D

Part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4.

Actually, I heard that God mode is pretty easy duo to the massive slowdown and additional shotpower.

Some people even say that 1.01 Maniac mode is harder than God mode.

God Mode is by no means 'easy'. If it was, I would have beaten it by now. :P

As far as 1.01 goes, I'm sure it's all harder due to somewhat flawed design. :x

Isn't 1.01 just 1.5's patterns but 1.0's scoring system?

I thought I heard that your shots were weaker and such, too. I dunno, maybe I'm thinking about 1.00 before it was fixed. :x

Either way, I haven't played or even loaded 1.01 yet-- I'm actually thinking about sitting on it for a while and selling the code once it becomes a little rarer. It's already going for $30+ at Shmups forum, so... :V

Hell, even Original 1.01 is retardedly hard.
Also, yeah. scoring system is different, you can't suck up gems, and extends are in different spots (in terms of score and well, that secret one).

What kind of 'pretty easy' are we talking about here? Because 1.5 Original is already about as hard as a Touhou Lunatic. :P

Slowly getting to grips with things, getting better at the stages. Might hit Stage 5 pretty soonish. :3

How exactly do you get ESPGaluda II's extend? I'm pretty sure I'm completely destroying the stage 3 midboss. I don't bomb from then till the extend. It's not showing up. Of course, I'm not exactly sure if I'm actually destroying it, and it's possible it needs to be done without dying.

Tried watching a replay, I still have no idea how to balance out gems and gold.

Dangun Feveron continuespam run to remember what it's like after many months without touching it.

2DNB stage part of stage 5 which I didn't remember at all  :o
Encouraging, I'd say. Surviving and scoring is unfortunately too much for my pathetic skills though  :ohdear:

ESPGaluda II Arrange is pissing me off.

I loaded the game earlier, and no 99 * 99 even though I had it before. Then I watch the 99 * 99 replay again and the option doesn't even appear like it should. I have played it on 99 * 99, and I never used the initialize ranking thing.

Tried Arcade/Xbox 360 mode, still can't play worth crap. Derp game overed on stage 2.

IIRC, you need not bomb from the midboss to the extend; you destroy all six parts of the midboss before killing it, and then near the end of the stage go into Zetsushikai mode and shoot this little rock thing on the left to make it appear. It won't trigger unless you're in Zetsushikai.

Tried Futari Arrange seriously for the first time, it's actually quite a lot of fun. 1cc'd Original, Maniac and Ultra, each with a score around 2bil. :V Beating Ultra gave me three achievements at the same time, which was kind of amusing.

Three, err... turret things(?) per side, I forget exactly what they are but they should be in pretty plain view.

EDIT: Half an hour after I told myself I was going to bed, another Arrange Original clear, this time no-miss and with a little over 2.8bil. Gotta download a replay and see how people are hitting scores like 6bil+.

Also ha ha old chap, a couple of people have counterstopped Arrange Ultra on the leaderboards. :V

I bet SIN (sinmoon) was the first one to counterstop it though. He rapes a lot of CAVE arranges.

The name is called Akai Katana and goddamn, the art style looks fantastic from the PV (which contains no gameplay, btw).

Holy shit at both. The first looks fantastic and the second is goddamnit Cave where's the 360 port. ;_;

Also, Deathsmiles is fun times. Scored 40m so far on my second run, all level 2s. Game over at Tyrannosatan who throughly raped me despite getting two extra lives from killing Jitterbug (what's the deal with that, anyway? It didn't trigger the first time I played).
