Lets go with the cheapest set up,

Quote
Revive Staff for Fightest:             10000 GP
Cure Book for Purvis:                    3000 GP
Abacus for Okashii:                       9500 GP
Giant's Armor for Okashii:             5000 GP
Total:                                            27500 GP
This way, we have more money the next time we get more choices, so we can get the more expensive(and more usefull) things

Welp, I'm the High POW Low DEF guy of the team, so should I get it? It does have 70% to block everything, but Jitte has 100% chance to block physical attacks. But Jitte is severely weaker than Abacus (x6 compared x10). Abacus is cheaper though.

If you look at it in the long run, Jitte has a 50% chance to block everything, assuming there is an equal spread of magic and physical. Thus Abacus comes out better.

Revive Staff for Fightest:             10000 GP
Cure Book for Purvis:                    3000 GP
Abacus for Okashii:                       9500 GP
Giant's Armor for Okashii:             5000 GP
Total:                                            27500 GP

I'm good with this. If this goes through, add AI command:

If Purvis OR [Okashii AND Demonbman] is incapacitated, then use Revive Staff.

Yeah not that much better. Double agreeing on getting those two.

Would like clarification if Fullcure only heals unlike a regular fullcure, or if it revives too, like a non-super, making it essentially a fullcure with 10 uses like it seems. Either way it's insanely useful though, so not passing it up.

Everyone agrees? Ok!

Alright Trance, this is our purchase!

Revive Staff for Fightest:             10000 GP
Cure Book for Purvis:                    3000 GP
Abacus for Okashii:                       9500 GP
Giant's Armor for Okashii:             5000 GP
Total:                                            27500 GP

And like Fightest I'll adjust my AI so that it will open up with Shogun's Fan and then proceed to switch over to Abacus. For finishers or heavy blows it'll use Rune Axe. Not sure about Triangle Kick though. Maybe the AI can switch between Rune Axe and Triangle Kick depending on the situation like before, preferably when the enemy is weak against AGI. To make Triangle Kick effective I'll need to use it more.

Okay then my opinion is that I support the 1x POWERED SUIT and the 1x SUPER FULLCURE BOOK purchase, just that thinking about it, the best affect of this would be to stick the best healing item on the person most likely to survive, which would either be Chaore/T34 due to agility, or me due to defense, but then I'd only become a better wall with the POWERED SUIT, so overall I support the purchase just that we need to figure out who gets what.

Edit:Just to note stat differences.

ANTHONY [120/0/40/90]->[135/12/40/163]
T34G3 [100/110/10/30]->[115/125/10/103]
CHAORE [75/100/0/75]->[90/115/0/148]
IBAKA [120/65/0/65]->[135/80/0/138]

Which now looking at this, I'd only be good for it to just buff up my power and defense, while it'd help someone like T34 more in all departments or Ibaka, so either it's
1.Buff up one unit to really high defense or
2.Buff up a unit to have them evened out.

Overall I'm good for either choice, but I suggest we give the SUPER FULLCURE BOOK to the same person who gets the POWERED SUIT, and along with that I suggest if either Chaore or T34 gets the POWERED SUIT, that they pass off their REVIVE STAFF to another teammate like Ibaka or myself.

Right then. Our purchase is confirmed as

1x POWERED SUIT (20000 Gp)
and 1x SUPER FULLCURE BOOK (25000GP)
Totaling 45000 GP. Killing all of our GP at the moment.

Placement undecided ATM

Myself, I'm saying Apply the powered suit to Anth no question, since well, Hes not a dodge whore like most of the team, so +70 so Defense is best for him.

Super fullcure should got to T3 as he/she is the fastest and most likely to react first in a shitstorm strike, and we should pass on the revive staff to someone else if we can to keep ourselves revive capable.

Objections/Suggestions?

I can work with that, and I'd probably be good with the revive staff cause a wall that stays up is a wall that can still do stuff, which I might as well be.

Okay then, so

##EQUIP: POWERED SUIT -> ANTHONY
##EQUIP: SUPER FULLCURE BOOK -> T34G3
##EQUIPMENT MOVE: T34G3'S REVIVE STAFF -> ANTHONY

Now that's out of the way, lets formulate our plan for DAISHOGUN. Since this is a single enemy and most likely a boss, we should stick to our strongest single hit weapons after a first round scanning with T34's VENUS' FAN and Ibaka's SHOGUN'S FAN, while Chaore and myself stick to the DEFENDER for protection. After that we should either start wailing on him with our strongest weapons or switch to a more defensive strategy, I'll elaborate more once I get others' opinions and once it stops being 5:20AM over here.

Sounds good, stun and poison are pretty effective to make the battle not so destructive for us.

Daishogun, eh? A shogun... Kinda like a japanese general for a certain region of the country, is it not? Dai.. Great. Great Shogun. We'll probably be dealing with something like a samurai-type, probably using fans and katanas for weapons. Pretty high AGL... Low MANA, but I bet you he has some kind of self-buff(Such as the Dark Knights DRAGONSHIELD). DEF and POW should be somewhere above normal... Yeah, that's pretty much what I get from this.

Yep, done rambling now.

All right, team AXESOME, we're up against two warmechs, robots again, I'd imagine. One of them is apparently evil. According to the blurb, they shoot lots of missiles, so I'd imagine they specialise in area attacks. Two bad things throwing about area attacks sounds bad, so I say I attempt to take one out from the get-go using the Seven Sword, after checking to see if they're immune to physical or something silly.

Definitely looks like we should have sprung for that extra healing staff. Oh well.

Yeah, I am all for Seven Swording up Evil Warmech. I don't like the idea of any robot with the word evil in its name. Too robot uprising for me. Looks like I'll be playing healbitch the whole time. If it goes more than eleven rounds, it may not be a bad idea for Fightest to be back-up healbitch, and possibly take care of revives if the damage rains down too heavily. Given what I recall of Warmech throughout history, I don't think we can count on too much mercy, so I may not even have the time to let up on the heals.

Again, I recommend a test round like last time so we can make sure it's not got any glaring vulnerabilities or immunities. If it's not too strong against strength-based attacks, letting Okashii work that triangle kick wouldn't be a bad idea.

Might be a good idea to use Demonb's Kouma staff as well.

QUESTION FOR THE GM!

Does the Kouma Staff stack?

Looks like we're up against mechs again, so magic will be most effective and the Shogun's Fan will do jackshit.

I think we must concentrate on the Energize Warmech first. Judging from its name it is a healer. If we want to wreck the Evil Warmech we're going to have to take down its healbitch first.

And yes Purvis, I should probably open up with Triangle Kick. If I'm knocked out and then revived I'll switch over to Abacus for extra protection. When the Evil Warmech's almost down I'll switch over to Rune Axe for the finisher.

Like Fightest said this looks like a good time to test out the Seven Sword. Open up with Gungnir first to test if POW attacks are relatively effective. If so, then go nuts on the Energize Warmech with the Seven Sword. When the Evil Warmech's healbitch is finished use the Seven Sword on Evil. After Bman buffs us he and I will support you with respectively Psi Blade and Triangle Kick/Abacus.

Ten percent is better than no percents. It's up there with some of the equipment we have.

And yeah, I considered going after Energize first. Really, my hope was the Seven Sword and the initial burst would be enough to make things happen with Evil. But good point there. I would recommend we not use it more than once, I get the feeling we're gonna need it later on, given how this bracket is shaping up.

GM QUESTION

How long does the Kouma staff's effects last? Until the fight is over or the target is kilt?

I would recommend we not use it more than once

Agreed, once is enough.

I would still argue against using the Kouma staff, as it only starts paying off on about the fourth turn. Since we're going for an alpha-strike start, we cannot afford to lose the damage Demonb would put out in that one turn.

Sounds good, stun and poison are pretty effective to make the battle not so destructive for us.
However, we've only got one enemy here. Venus' and Shogun's fan are most effective when used against groups since then they inflict status effects with a higher probability. I'm not really the person who gambles about these kinds of things, you know. I'd rather use Longinus than the fan. I'll deal much more damage with the Longinus than with two stunfails with the Venus' fan. Then again, we're such top hax luckers...

I'll just use mine, then? Laevateinn isn't that great for nuking anyways, and Shougun's Fan has a wider variety of debuffs.

I'm actually debating wether I should take Laevateinn or Death's Sickle after use the Fan... Advice since you all seem to be much more expirienced with RPGs and general gaming than me? (It isn't a surrise since I'm still a kid.)

Laeventeinn. No doubt. Let me spell out how drastically stronger it is, ESPECIALLY for you.

Death's sickle is a x10 mod, And acts on Agility. This means it's damage is x10 your agility- so 650.

Laeven, however, is a x14 mod. It also acts on your highest stat, Power. This equals up to -1680- damage. That's right. Over double your damage with the sickle.

Death's sickle is basically just  Insta-Death chance, if we want that I'm a better choice for using it, dealing 1000 even each swing, compared to best around 1200 with the XCalibur. The damage loss is far smaller with me.

The fans were mostly gonna be a turn 1 thing to see if we get lucky with hitting him with some sort of status effect, but then it'd probably be more effective to just knock the fuck out of him.

Which if we did that, our weapon layout would probably be...

ANTHONY-XCALIBR/DEFENDER(trade up a 50% damage cut or a bit more damage)
T34G3-DRGN SPEAR LONGINUS
CHAORE-DEATH'S SICKLE
IBAKA-LAEVATEINN(due to it being your strongest weapon)

and from there it'd probably be best to stick to the strategy of when a person goes down either me or Chaore try to revive them, while T34 only uses the super fullcure book when either 1. 2 people are down 2. one person is down and 1-3 others (including T34) are injured some.

so if I were to assess this into a straight plan, it would be

ANTHONY-DEFENDER, USE REVIVE STAFF WHEN SOMEONE IS DOWN
T34GE-DRGN SPEAR LONGINUS, USE SUPER FULLCURE BOOK WHEN 1. 2 PEOPLE ARE DOWN OR 2. 1 PERSON IS DOWN AND 1-3 OTHERS ARE INJURED
CHAORE-XCALIBR, USE REVIVE STAFF WHEN SOMEONE IS DOWN
IBAKA-LAEVATHEINN
NOTE: PRIORITY OF WHO DOES THE REVIVING OR HEALING FIRST, 1.CHAORE 2.ANTHONY 3.T34G3

if anyone has a problem, just speak up.

Edit: cause hurr I forgot Chaore's agility is higher than his power.

Huhm. Can we specify a bit of a Damage count for 'Injured?' Like, Below 50% or something dangerous, It's an awesome book and I'd rather not waste shots. At that, I'd actually prefer I go off with the Death's sickle. Like I said, the damage loss is minimal and I could get lucky with an insta-kill chance. I mostly got the Xcalibur for group hits, not single combat.
