Ok, this is an idea I just thought up, that'll either go decently well or completely flop i'm guessing. :V This thread is a kindred spirit to the 'Favorite Depiction' thread, except a little different.

Explain what you like about your favorite characters, except with a catch. No words, but up to three pictures that give an good impression of the personality depiction that you like the most (Or even three completely different interpretations that show their dynamic nature!)

Really, a picture is worth a thousand words, and it's way easier to show why you like a character as opposed to saying why.

I might actually try posting Chen when I get home, because there's a particular depiction of Chen I like that you don't see very often.

This thread idea is exce-cool. Unfortunately I don't really browse thru Touhou images so I can't reall conjure up some to do what I'd like.
Hele's Remi shot is indeed good, but it lacks her potentially friendly charisma too. The same kind that won patchy's hard to win (and flan's) heart, along with Sakuya's abnormal loyalty IMO. I'd offer one that captures that aspect well, but...yeah >=(

As far as I can tell, the three pictures are supposed to portray the three best aspects of a character's personality, or at least one interpretation of it. Posting three awesome pictures... doesn't exactly do that. There's a reason why we don't just post all these in the "lol touhou pics" thread.

Actually I tried to find a childish picture of Remilia acting like a little bitch. But I couldn't find one aside from the overload of moe-moe stuff which is not in my perspective her canon form. I don't see any friendly Charisma in Remilia, as she is a spoiled childish brat. I'll add one more picture now that I brainstormed, which might fit Remilia.

I figured that was the purpose of this thread from the beginning. So I handpicked a few things that I believe got my point across.

Trust me, I didn't just pull any random Luize or Shinki pic off my majhost for this. Then again, it's not exactly easy with Luize since there's barely any art of her :/

But, I like the three picture thing and how you get to express three (possibly) different aspects of the character you love so much.
Since, if it was just one picture to show that you like the interpretation of the character, wouldn't this be the same as "Favorite depiction of Touhou characters" thread?
...Although I do agree that you might want it to be three pictures pointing at different aspects of the character.
But then again using words to fulfill that purpose seems to defeat the purpose of the thread...
